I thought the paper was awful. This was my fourth attempt, and I had a feeling that NPV or WACC wasn’t going to come in Section C.
Then I got stumped on the Lease vs Buy as it said that tax was not to be taken into consideration. I thought you had to tax your cashlows and then calculate the tax allowable depreciation for the Buy option. And for the Lease option, I thought you just had to calculate the tax allowable depreciation. But there were not tax or allowable depreciation rates in the question. I just don’t know.
April 17, 2017 at 3:14 pm #382162I failed with 49. What a disappointment. And I thought I had passed by about 60.
April 18, 2016 at 2:26 pm #311306First attempt – Failed. But I expected it. Went to bed the night before the exam with a splitting headache and woke up the morning of the exam feeling the same. Couldn’t focus. When my headache started to wear off, I ran out of time. Hopefully I will be better prepared in June. Does anyone know if the June exam will be based on the 2014/2015 tax year.
August 3, 2015 at 2:44 pm #265146Wow that is amazing. Wel done! I unfortunately failed, as I put my long answers on the question paper – silly silly mistake. I got 28 on multiple choice only.
June 1, 2015 at 5:12 pm #251434I did the stupidest thing ever. This was my first ever written exam and I’m afraid in my opinion the invigilator did not explain the format of the exam.
I did my written answers on the question booklet. The sad thing is I think I could have passed, as I knew the pricing question, and I new the ABC question and I knew bits and pieces of ZBB and Transfer pricing. The multiple choice questions were not that hard either.
