    Have you taken any of the P level papers? Sometimes its easy to get bogged down by continuously studying the same module over and over especially when its one you probably feel you should be passing at this stage. Whats your method of study? Did you ever attend any classes for FM or is it all self study? The fact that you’re so close to passing means its only small margins. I think the theory is so important in FM and should be given as much time as the computational questions.

    I thought the exam was difficult, the MCQ’s were horrible. My long questions were the lease vs buy and then eac of the borrowing costs. How did people attempt the eac part? Then the other long question was cost of equity with CAPM and project specific cost of equity which I thought was ok but it was only for 6 marks!!

    Yes you are right but its 0.5% so multiply by 1.005 as in the solution and not 1.5 (that would be 50%). Hope this makes sense

    Anybody know how the probabilities question should have been answered? What was the NPV?

    Time management was a big problem for me. Ended up rushing through the mcq’s in the end. Felt the exam was definitely passable though. Did most people do section b first?
