Hi Devina,
I took P1 and P2 this December sitting using the BPP online classroom. It’s the next best alternative for me since there’s not a place that gives me a full time Part 3 course in my area. (I’m from Malaysia by the way.)
The only problem I had with it was the internet connection. Sometimes the lecture videos wouldn’t load. But in all other aspects, I think it’s a great distance learning program. Since there will be more interaction and it would not be too boring just doing the self-study by yourself.
I think I will continue to take P3 and the other two options with them for the June 2011 sitting. Hope this helps! 🙂

December 18, 2010 at 2:39 pm #64544Hi,
I was never notified of a response to my post! I only saw it now when I was looking for advice on how to pick my option papers.
Thanks for your reply though! But I actually took P1 and P2 together since I had no idea which to pick at the time. And you were so right. It would have been great to have at least a day in between exams. I was panicking after my first paper as I did not have time to rest in between!
If you could, would you advice me on which paper to take for the option papers? I’m doing distance learning and I’m from Malaysia. I had thought of taking P6 and P7. But there isn’t a Malaysian variant for tax in distance learning. So is it better to take P4 or P5? I will also be taking P3.
Thank you so much! 🙂
