Hi All,
P5- after 3rd tempt, I finally passed this paper with 63%.
It is my final paper and still feel unreal.
P5 is the hardest paper ( have tried 3 times, 45, 43 and 63). This paper is hard because the question wording, especially if you are second language user can be very tough.

This is very unfair rule and I am amazed a lot of you actually agree? really? If you do not ask qualified accountant who took the exam years ago to retake the exam why you should remove current students pass achievement and put them back to beginning again?

Not everyone in the same situation, I have personally battled with illness, my children’s health issues and operation on my hands and arm which I couldn’t attend the exams since I have passed my most P papers 7 years ago only 1 paper remain, I couldn’t do it because I working full time with heavy responsibility and also I have a lot of health issue to recover before I am fit enough to do the exam again, 7 year rule clearly not fair for people like me. Study shouldn’t have time limit, it may take someone bit longer to achieve the pass but it still should be recognised. Really sick of such unfair and unethical rule imposed by one professional body!

I am confused too, tried twice 45, and 42 this time, I felt I should have passed

Do you mean Practise as accountant or auditor? All the lower paper was international stream which was directed by tutor before.

Mike, thank you. I don’t understand this requirement too, because when I was study p2 and f8, they were force us to choose international stream, that’s what I have learnt. I am stressed about this, I am not intended become auditor. I just want to get through my last paper which under international stream, I achived 48 marks twice, the. This time I choose UK stream got 23 marks.
Can I change back to international stream for my next sitting?

thanks this is good advice, i failed dec 14,but was very high marks 48 marks twice before, i just don’t know what went wrong! each time i finish my exam for P7 i felt i was almost defo pass but it come such shock!
