Thank you very much again.
And I’ll rewatch all the lectures againOctober 20, 2015 at 6:46 pm #277907Thank you very much.
And could you please help me with his also? Actually, this is the other post that I posted.
The totals of the a company’s trial balance are as follows debit $635,000 credit $627,500.
Which of the following errors in isolation could account for the difference?
1. The omission from the trial balance of an accruals account totalling $7,500.
2. The rent expense account of $7,500 has been recorded twice in the trial balance.
3. The omission from the trial balance of a prepayment account totalling $7,500.
4. Discounts received of $3,750 has been credited in error in the payables control account.(A) None of the above
(B) 1,2 and 4
(C) 1 and 2
(D) 2,3 and 4Answer: (C)
I have no idea at all except the #4 will create a suspense account…………..
And according to another question which was finding errors that would require the use of a suspense account to correct the error, said a choice,”Depreciation expense has been recorded twice.” would require correcting but would not require a suspense account because it will not lead to an imbalance in the trial balance. For that reason, I thought the #2 which says the rent expense recorded twice will not lead to an imbalance in the trial balance.
Anyway, the question is asking to find which would lead to an imbalance in the trial balance right? Would you please explain further? I need some detailed explanations.
October 20, 2015 at 9:05 am #277773I see!
So the impact of the omission in any primary entry books is there would be errors in both individual ledger and control account right?

I was so careless…..Anyway thank your sir.
October 13, 2015 at 5:33 pm #276206Hello.
I have a question related to the above item.
I could get budgeted fixed OH which was $120,000 then I got absorbed OH as well which was $138,000.
Then, in order to get over/under absorption, we have to compare an Actual OH and Absorbed OH right? But my problem is that why do you consider the Budgeted Fixed OH cost as an Actual OH from this question??
Thank you.
October 13, 2015 at 8:38 am #276149Hello.
I’m in Singapore. And I’m planning to have experience here in Singapore then go to New Zealand when I’m old enough then continue to work there. Which would it be the best choice to choose between UK/Global/Singalpore variant for F4 and other papers which have variants?
October 13, 2015 at 8:18 am #276147Hello,
I’m in Singapore. And I donno what to choose between global/Eng and Singapore variant. Since there’s no CBE for singapore variant, I’m considering to take global. However, LSBF is not offering the global variant classes. That means, I have to study by myself.
Do you think it would be fine to do by myself for global variant?
Additionally, when I’m going to get a job/internship here in the Singapore, is it required to get Singapore variant again?October 12, 2015 at 7:03 pm #276069So true.
Thank you sir once again.
October 11, 2015 at 5:36 pm #275886Oh! High-Low method!!!

October 10, 2015 at 11:20 am #275739Hello.
Is the answer 76,240?
I calculated in this way:
1 Oct. – 1 Jun. (36,000 x 7/12) 20% = 4,200
1 Dec. – 30 Sept. (18,000 x 10/12) 20% = 3,000
Full yr. (381,200 – 36,000) 20% = 69,040Accum. Depn. = 4,200 + 3,000 + 69,040 = 76,240
October 5, 2015 at 3:20 pm #275038Thank you very much Sir.
