I have A question Regarding Part A of this question.
In part (a) Calculate the net present value of investing in the new machine and advise whether the investment is financially acceptable.
In NPV Calculation, at the Year (0) They are Deducting 90M because it was needed and stated in question as (Additional investment in working capital of $90,000 will be required at the
start of the first year of operation.)But at the 5th year they are adding this 90M amount back in, Why is that so?

the management of gympie has already allocated and apportioned the fixed overheads
for the period although she has yet to re-apportion the service center costs. information for the period as follows:allocated & apportioned

what are the total overheads included in production department 1 if the reciprocal method is used to
re=apportion the service
center cots ?I have few questions regarding this question.
1. It says reciprocal method so which can/should we use direct or step down method ?
2. Can you provide the full working to this solution, cant get a hold of it.
3. when we use step down method for such question do we need to keep on apportioning the cost till the service costs goes 0 ? meaning nothing is leftare Opentutions MA-2 notes from this site updated to match 2016’s june syllabus ? i am planning to use them aswell.
Also are their not video lectures of Ma2 and extra questions for practice and key terms on this site?
