ebusiness and link theories are only something to pass time waiting for the results. One thing seems to be true is if members@accaglobal appears in the ebusiness link then it is a guarantee pass, not sure if students@accaglobal may also turn out to a pass for finalists. May be Rana can share some tips on the way to study and pass P7?

Thanks Hannaliu. How are you planning to tackle this paper? I have not yet started studying..I have to get all my notes and books from the cabinet. Maybe i was overconfident for a pass..still could not digest this failure.

Same as you guys, don’t know what to do to pass this paper. Thinking of changing this paper to another optional paper, either p4 or p6 as i passed p5 but everytime i think of doing this, i thought no, let me give it another chance and god knows how many attempts it has been so far. I really thought september would be the last time I am sitting for an ACCA exams but my results proved me wrong. can’t believe it until today, its worst that being heartbroken..can anyone please tell me if it worth going for an admin review? I don’t want my paper to be remarked, well this is not available anyway but i want to know where i went wrong. can anyone from opentuition please advise.

Failed P7-40%. Unbelievable, feeling down. Was confident for a pass! could anyone please guide me how to pass this paper please. I am able to access almost everything; link theory, my acca, ebusiness which is still showing students@acca…..Results have been locked up and ready to be released in just a bit more than 48 hours. whatever comes out we must face it guys and always remember that a fail is not the end of the world and many people out there are in much more difficulties than us..so keep calm and be positive and also be psychologically strong…….I think link theories (white and grey or members@acca…) should not worry us too much and we should stop going crazy about these theories by now..I am sure a lot of us will post our results on Monday and we can certainly determine how far all these theories were right or not..

So, good luck folks and let’s hope for the best..I know some of us if not all of us will be qualified accountants and fingers crossed hopefully the end towards a very long journey to achieve such a great qualification.

Guys,

I know how it’s like waiting for results especially when you are a finalist. I am waiting for P7 results and i have done this paper numerous times but can’t get through..I am desperate for a pass as time is playing against me and all my friends have already completed ACCA. I did the best i can in september but since i failed a lot of times, I am sometimes confused if I did well or not..Last time i scored 40 marks and could access the white and grey page all the time i logged in, i have never obtained the error message on the “link” or “leak” theory whichever way you want to call it. however, for the e-business i have always seen students@acca and nothing else even till the last time i could log in the e-business website. I have invested massively into ACCA and it has really been a long journey which many things pending in my life. I am praying for a pass and hope that everyone who are waiting for their result pass. I will be certainly be very upset if i dont get through this time.

May be sociopath can tell us a bit more on his experience on P7 results.

why would some finalists see students@acca, some members@acca and some affiliate@acca. In my opinion ACCA must definitely be doing something which possibly is affecting the student’s status unless people are lying while all of us are seeing only one thing which is students@acca which I don’t think is the case as quite a few people are mentioning that they can see members@acca., so not a lie!

Now, in the past all claiming to have seen members@acca have passed unless I am wrong but I did not see anyone mentioning fail when they see members@acca or affiliate@acca..Now the BIG question is if someone is still seeing students@acca and have performed really well in the exam and is expecting a high pass mark >60%..Would they need to worry? I hope that ACCA will be fair by not indicating someone results indirectly by some use of words. I would certainly not start counting eggs before the hen lays them..

The stress level just doubled as it seems that the ACCA are right in the middle of updating and loading things up…It could be that they are doing it countrywise so let us hope for the best for everyone in every region as the past few days have been quite stressful, I guess till results day we should keep calm and be patient.

I would like to thank you guys for creating this page and keep us posted, I know may of us are reading through every minute but please please please share your experience with us about your acca results as some of us were expecting fail but still pass and vice versa.

Does it mean that if we still see students@accaglobal.com and not member@accaglobal.com we have not passed? I don’t think so, it should not be that straightforward. Can anyone call ACCA and find out more on this please because from what I know is that you need to complete all your exams+Practical exp+ethics module to be a member, at least we should start off with affiliate.

can any recent acca member if reading this message confirm this please, or anybody who saw students@accaglobal.com in June 2017 but still pass their exams.

This message seems more probable of a pass than a fail. well this is my understanding of the message, I am not sure for you guys…

I would not rely on the link theory for my exams results..I would better wait till the 16th of October when the results are out..ACCA will not give you any hint until the day exams results are out and they are very cautious on this due to the previous leaks.

By the way, always remember that “patience is virtue”..

We are all in the same boat, so let’s sail smoothly till the 16th of October.

Just a quick question please, did you answer all questions in the paper you scored 49 marks?

It was a time pressured exams as any other previous P7 exams.
Q1 was lengthy and there was a lot to grasp in little time but it was not too difficult I guess(BR+ROMM+Group audit planning+Evidence on the $10m as claim from pressure groups)
Q2 was typical P7 questions on ISAs+Matters to consider & evidence. Provision for decommisiong costs+change in estimate technique for calculating depreciation+Trade receivables.
Q3 was on due diligence where it was asked why two points made need to be investigated. One was on a major customer who is not renewing the agreement with the manufacturer and the other point was on a piece of land which was gifted and used as a nature reserve – a bit of an odd type though. Then the investigation procedures was asked and the questioned finished off with a bit of ethics.
Q4 was on ethics+professional issues+recommendations in a three sub parts.
Q5-No idea did not get there!

-Competition
-Non compliance with laws and regulations
-upward and downward fluctuations in foreign exchange rates
-High maintenance costs especially to hotels in hurricane prone area
-Reputational risk if made public in press reports
-Restricted access to private beach
-Unpaid bills by customers as they can pay 60% on departure
-Diversification from the franchise of Moulin Blanche

I have scored 37 marks from my last sitting in June 2017, my previous marks were 40, 42 and 38. It seems that it is getting worse. Though I feel confident with my studies/revision I could not do it in the exams. this is my final paper and it seems i could not clear it for some reasons..I have done almost all past papers from 2007. I have done the BPP kit as well. I certainly would not associate my intelligence from the failures of P7 but it could well be that i am lacking exam technique or may be just a bit of luck. I have seen a lot of you guys scoring 66, 72, etc. could you please help me towards getting through this paper as I really need to pass this paper in sep 2017. Please help,
