Did anyone attempt Q2? What is unified database exactly?
Don’t tell me it was to do with EIS or ERPS… I kind of just went with the flow… told them Unified database is where all departments are linked and etc…

I also sat for september & remember they tested Perf Pyramid… but I am still going to revise it just in case. Anyways I would suggest just at least read what you already know.

    Goodluck to you too.

I failed F4 4 times. Reading posts above… those guys have been through worse than me. Only quit ACCA if you think it is right. If you’re quitting because of the “frustration” then re-think.

It would have changed by 20% max. So I don’t think it’s something to worry about. Just go to ACCA website and opentuition to read the “missing” out part.

The exam kit, if you will, should be latest as it has MCQ.

I sat F7 F8 F9 with F7 being the worst of the three and F8 being the best.
Result? : Passed F7 but failed the others.

I wrote so much for F8 that I was only 2 sides (1 page) away from finishing the answer booklet and requesting a new one.

I think we should stick to the point for F8 and only writing the number of points they want.
For example for a six point question (I think it was about the engagement letter) I should have only written 6 and not 8.

I think what they do is only check the first points you’ve written and so if the first few are wrong and the last ones are correct, you’ll not gain any marks.

I don’t trust the marking scheme anymore but I am attempting to study to the point this time only.

Not an advice but an idea.

Since the last date to enter for exams is 1st of Feb. I think you should study both till say 30th or 31st. No question practice, just revising the standards for F7 and going through the main topics like test of controls and etc for F8.

I think within a week you’ll have an idea of what to go for.

My personal advice (based on my conditions of course) go for both.
