89%!Very happy -didn’t know what to expect as I hadn’t sat any mock exams so actually went in to the exam nervous not knowing if I would even pass!
There are no prizewinners in March/Sep I don’t think – which I’m glad of seeing Olef’s score as I would have been gutted as some sittings 89% would be enough!
No offense Olef and well done! Give yourself a pat on the back and get it added to your CV π
Thank you and you too π
I think it might have been only the first September exam session that didn’t have any prize winners.April 16, 2018 at 12:53 pm #447380@yunusmulla said:

This paper is so annoying to me. This is my second attempt at it and I got 40%. Please high achievers like aloft and the person who got 88 please give me some advice on how to pass. Thank you ot.My method for exams F2-F9 has been to first view the lectures on Open Tuition and then spend lots of time with the revision kits and doing at least 95% of all questions. Sometimes I do questions 2-3 times to make sure I understand it and can formulate a good answer well within the designated time. I think it’s important to answer the questions as you would in the exam and not just scribble down some bullet point.
This has worked relatively well for me so far: 3 exams 90+, 4 exams 80+, 1 exam 78. I’m also usually done 10 minutes before the time limit (except the CBEs which took max 1 hour per exam)

I did study a lot, probably too much. Some colleagues would say that I wasted 38 marks, haha.August 1, 2015 at 8:56 am #264133Passed with 88% π
August 1, 2015 at 8:52 am #264130Passed with 84% π
February 8, 2015 at 8:02 pm #22700185% UK tax, only Open Tuition lectures and BPP exam kit.
June 4, 2014 at 8:12 pm #173961Harder than expected, will probably get around 70%. Might buy a text book for next course. π
Balanced question 2 for 292 000 I think. Got 289 000 Eq +lia first but added 3000 for the commission sales not yet remitted.
Didn’t like the interpretation question at all.

February 8, 2014 at 9:12 am #15667396% CBE in September. Not sure if this counts as December exam?
December 2, 2013 at 6:44 pm #149289It was a good exam and I’m confident I will pass. Did a mistake to think that the time was up 15 before it actually was (forgot about the mins reading time, haha) so I did the exam in 2:45 hours π
Some comments about previous comments in the thread.
Q1. The first two products should be further processed but not the last one. Calculation example below; Extra profit after process 2 minus Profit lost since it wasn’t sold after process 1.
1200 h x 95% x (6.80-0.50) – 1200 x 5.90Q3. Don’t remember the TARs but large panel was better. However, had to produce 1000 small due to contract. Total hours 5d x 50w x 12h x 90% if I’m not mistaken.
Q5. Adverse planning variances (except for bedsheet usage as it was 0). Favourable operational variances for all but bedsheet usage variance which I got to be 48000 adverse, I think.
August 20, 2013 at 9:52 pm #138735Did the CBE today, harder than anticipated but managed to get 90. π
