I passed on the third attempt of this paper. It was depressing to fail a syllabus that was not very hard. Frankly I hate writing and this required tremendous amount of it. On my first attempt I got a 46 where I entered the examination thinking it was just another easy theory paper. The second attempt I entered thinking I just have to write as much as I could and it was worse than the first attempt where I scored 40.

Then I started to read forums such as these which is really helpful. This helped me understand that it was not just about theory and writing. There are specific terms such as explain / evaluate / describe for which I understood the true meanings of these. Also I practiced much more papers literally writing down each answers and formulating strategies to answer such as first noting down points and then putting them on the paper. Yet as I entered the exam hall, I managed to complete only 75% of the paper but by the grace of God managed to score 55%.

So in short practice writing as many papers as you can. Understand the requirement of the questions and the terms used. Understand enough theory and finally ask for God’s grace through Christ 😉
