all calculations should likewise be after d main computation. wat d examiner want to see is ur solution to d question which should ideally be backed up with relevant calculations in another page. except where d examiner specifically required u to show calculations within or before d main computation, d ideal standard is to show all workings in an appendix after d main computation, it should not come first. it even makes ur work neater & easier for the marker. u should always try avoid making d marker looking for where to award u marks just coz he cant find his way thru between ur real answer & ur workings
d standard rule is to inlcude d calculations in an appendix. it should neva be part of d body of your report or letter even when it a very simple calculation. u should however make reference to d results in your appendix while writing d report.

@1982,,,dt exactly my quesstion combination too. i attempted questions 1,2,3, bt when i get to q4 there was just 10mins left & besides dt i dint v time to think abt d requirement.i later got to know dt question 5 was cheaper as it has to wit personal service companies & there were quite a number of eazy marks.if u attempted q 1,2,3 very well u may still have some chances of passing.. let just pray for success,pls dnt think of resiting until u actually get the result. who knows u may pass afterall.
neva mind,,, just relax & pray for success come feb 2011. i likewise did not do question 4, i only did the 4 marks part of it. while i missed the 5 cheap marks on ethics in question 1. but i did my best in those questions i attempted altho i can not say that my attempt was 100% correct. nevertheless, i know that God will still do it & i’ll have my pass mark.

in terms of career= both will do well in the UK
in terms of job= i think they will also have same success rate in the UK
for the pay= same as well.
but all three will differ if u are not in the UK. u can practics both auditing and tax in the UK but where u stay outside UK p6 will be very very irrelevant. u cant practice UK tax except u attempted ur country’s tax variant.
