Absolutely gutted at ACCA!! My membership got sealed on 15th sep and i still have not received my certificate! ! I have followed up numerous times but more disappointment! ! Its tough for us to study hard for 3 years as is and the institution then making us wait for more than 6 weeks is just abhorrent! ! I even paid my membership in June, before receiving MY certificate! Just disgusted at the attitude and service!

June 18, 2016 at 5:07 am #323342Hi guys,
Quick question re PER, i am currently writing my perf objectives. Please can someone who has completed and signed off tell me if the word limit is 300 words. can it be bit more say 350? has someone’s PER got rejected if you exceeded the word limit by only a tad bit? thanks!! i need to submit this week as im impatient now so any help would be appreciated!January 18, 2016 at 1:08 am #295264I passed with 60% after 2 failed attempts last dec and Jun’15!!! This was my last so now an affiliate! Please can someone advise steps after this… also, whats a finalists list published by ACCA?
Thank God. Congrats to those who passed and those who did not make it, try and try again. Work smart. All i know is, the first two attempts – after leaving the exam room i knew i was failing. However, this time i was confident even though did mess up a few places (this was the only exam i failed in my 14 exam journey so was very disappointed but did not give up!). Just hang in there and Good luck!!January 17, 2016 at 2:23 pm #294901Waiting anxiously for the result tomorrow! !! No sleep til then. I feel like a zombie
November 21, 2015 at 3:13 am #284242Was looking on Google to find the answer to this query too and it took me approx. 1 hour of searching and not getting anywhere. Only 2 minutes into your answer and I can find the values depending on any confidence level now! Thanks John, you’re awesome.

Food For Thought (FFT) has been established for over 20 years and has a wide range of food products.
The organisation has four divisions:
(1) Premier
(2) Organic
(3) Baby
(4) Convenience
The Premier division manufactures a range of very high quality food products, which are sold to a leading supermarket, with stores in every major city in the country. Due to the specialist nature of the ingredients these products have a very short life cycle. The Organic division manufactures a narrow range of food products for a well-established Organic brand label.
The Baby division manufactures specialist foods for infants, which are sold to the largest UK Baby retail store.
The Convenience division manufactures low fat ready-made meals for the local council.

My thoughts:) :
Current outstanding balance is $10,000 ($9,000 to external users plus $1,000 to Ham). And Jo (? – who introduced capital only $1,000) can’t be granted release from obligations. So all three partners should pay in total $5,000 according to their initial proportion (60%, 30%, 10%). What did you answer and what do you think??Not sure if im right…. but ita said no liab in future debts and it was agreed so I checked her out while calc potential luability… even tho partners are severally liable… hmm I think im failing big time coz rest of the paper didnt go well either……

Hi all.
Regarding the types of procedures, I remind all that the question was asking TYPES of procedures to gain audit evidence, and not TYPES of SUBSTANTIVES procedures to use PROVE OR AUIOU. So, my approach was to write
controls test
substantive test
representation letters
third parties confirmation
evidence from legal authoritiesas I felt these were different TYPES of acquiring evidence
Uh oh I wrote documentation check inspection etc…. damn hope thts not wrong.. but they are analytical procedures so…
