Hi Tinkle how did you tackle MCQs for AA ? as those are my main concern
April 18, 2022 at 7:46 pm #653830Passed with 60% wohooo !
April 1, 2022 at 10:04 am #652500how did you find the overall exam?
March 30, 2022 at 5:44 pm #652342Am I the only one dreading the moment when we receive the results?
I am really worried and anxious!
This is my second attempt as from Dec’21 I did not pass only for 3 marks!
I really did prepare very well this time especially when it comes to theoritcal questions and also improved my exam technique (I got this feedback from an ACCA examiner as I submitted the practice question provided for March exam)
However on the exam I found it quite difficult and I highly doubt that I will receive a pass this time 🙁
So so worried !
January 18, 2021 at 1:31 pm #606857Passed 55% 😀
November 11, 2020 at 12:13 pm #594722Hi John yes I did and scored on 50s and 60s but as I said I don’t give high hopes, since doing well in your revision and then you obtain 37 in actual exam 🙁
November 10, 2020 at 7:26 pm #594652Hi John, thanks for the reply yes currently I have the latest BBP Revision Kit and I have attempted the mocks and scored very well, but I don’t put high hopes on this as then I failed in actual exam so I am looking for all the resources
October 31, 2020 at 3:59 pm #593674I apologize my bad 🙁
October 31, 2020 at 3:55 pm #593673Now I understand I will have a look again at the lectures
October 31, 2020 at 3:53 pm #593672Thanks very much now I understand 🙂
October 31, 2020 at 3:48 pm #593670ok thanks
October 31, 2020 at 9:34 am #593617Hi John I watched the lecture and when I worked it out as you explained it gave me $300 (A)
basically I have found the difference between ‘Standard Qty Standard Mix’ with ‘Actual Qty Standard mix’ and multiply by the budgeted profit that is $10, $6, $2
I cannot find out what I am doing wrong
October 31, 2020 at 8:57 am #593614ok understood however in the answer it says that:
Sales rev of $1.5m total contr 45% x 1.5m = $675,000
it leaves a further $625,000 of fixed cost to cover. To achieve breakeven sales in excess of 1.5m need to be $625,000 / 0.48 = $1.302So does this means that the question is asking the breakeven sales in excess ? as I could not understand what its after
October 31, 2020 at 8:45 am #593613still cannot understand how did you get to 98,000 hours (that is the 38,000 hours extra)
October 31, 2020 at 8:33 am #593611ok understood thanks
October 31, 2020 at 8:26 am #593608I could not understand the part where you say ‘That would leave them needed extra contribution of 9,000 – 7,200 = $1,800’ does the 9,000 represent the Fixed Cost?
October 30, 2020 at 8:14 pm #593576thanks
October 30, 2020 at 8:12 pm #593575Yes I will have a look at this method got me confused
October 30, 2020 at 8:12 pm #593574Yes I meant question 190, now it is clear to me
I will have a look at your lecture thanks
October 24, 2020 at 6:29 pm #593042I did not passed 2nd attempt 🙁 I am retaking in December
October 24, 2020 at 6:11 pm #593040Hi @namah have you passed F5? I am in the retaking the 3rd time in December and I am married with a 1 year old daughter can you please advise how did you prepared?
October 19, 2020 at 9:49 am #590342what did you do you different in your study technique from your first to second attempt?
October 19, 2020 at 9:48 am #590339Failed with 37% second attempt my first was 38% feeling so horrible right now .. thought to try for December
September 25, 2020 at 10:49 am #586633Well from my end I had the same feeling I was first relaxed and confident but then I started feeling a bit unassured on the answers I submitted.
There again English is my second language but in my revision papers I always manage to understand the question, the set of questions I had in Section B were on learning curve, target cost, and limiting factor. Section C I had variances and transfer price (which I found this question quite difficult)
I really doubt if I see a pass :/ I did my very best when I start thinking I really start getting worried of what should I do next
September 15, 2020 at 10:05 am #585703Thanks for your message how did you do in the exam?
