Passed with 50% and made it to affiliate status!
Thank you, Open Tuition and thank you, Mr. John Moffat. Your lectures are very appreciated!
For the fellow students who have not yet passed: keep going, don’t lose your faith and good luck in December!

How am i going to cope with the pain especially at 12midnight and the rest of the weekend.
My strategy:
I’ll put today one bottle of champagne + many bottles of cheap beer in the fridge.
When I find out the result I will either celebrate with champagne (if Pass) or get drunk with beer until I vomit (if I Fail).

August 7, 2014 at 12:06 pm #186983I feel worried because I could not resist accessing that unauthorized link and now I am stressing myself out over the possible consequences.
Not to mention that I am not even sure about the interpretation of the result found under that link 🙁
August 7, 2014 at 12:00 pm #186973@ kontoua: yes, I have received that warning email although I have never used the unauthorized links (until today).
August 7, 2014 at 11:58 am #186970By the way, has anybody heard of what kind of action took Acca against the students who accessed its database in the past?
August 7, 2014 at 11:52 am #186965@Kontoua: if enough of us do this, I think we are safe, Acca cannot afford removing a huge number of students from its register (hopefully). It is a good idea to spread the link to so many stundents as possible.
August 7, 2014 at 10:56 am #186924Not working, it shows “Site Busy”.
I am trying now to retrieve the results for a fellow colleague who is afraid of ACCA prosecutions. I told him I might access the link once again for him, since I have already sinned once…
However, I cannot get in there, apparently too many people are trying this at the same time.August 7, 2014 at 10:10 am #186892Now I’m sorry I did not choose the text option as you did.
But at least other people who see my post will know better 🙂
August 7, 2014 at 9:12 am #186860Last session, in February I expected a pass and I put a bottle of champagne in the fridge to be prepared for the celebration. Then I failed with 48 :((
It broke my heart to take that bottle out of the fridge and place it back in the pantry.I don’t know what I should do today with it…my boyfried says “leave it in the pantry”.
August 7, 2014 at 7:09 am #186821yes, my PER is updated
August 7, 2014 at 5:58 am #186801Ali.hbc, did you use the gmail email-address to receive the result?
In February I have received the email from ACCA at around 6 AM!!!
During these waiting hours I have browsed the Open Tuition Forum and learnt that other people receive their results punctually at midnight or at least around 1 AM!!! I have used my yahoo address to receive the result – I don’t know if it’s yahoo’s fault or the ACCA server’s fault that I have waited soooo much.I expect this time be the same, I feel so frustrated!!
August 7, 2014 at 5:40 am #186799@ali.hbc – I suppose the link is not so useful to non-finalists because you cannot see there your exam marks for the last papers you sat. You only get to see a little information on your personal profile – such as this mysterious “User default group” that we are trying here hard to decipher.
But let’s see what other users say, maybe smb else comes up with additional insights.
August 7, 2014 at 5:31 am #186796@ shincody: your justification is so funny 😀
I think I might explain ACCA that my little nephew (4 years old) accessed that link when I was not around – do u think they’ll buy it?
August 7, 2014 at 5:19 am #186790Dear users,
I could not resist the temptation to access the forbidden link.
Under my profile it says:
User default group: ACCA
Provisioning status: not requested
Provisioning status description: noneI note that am a finalist, just sat in June 2014 my last exam.
I have noted under that link that there is an “ACCA_member” category – that must be for people that are obviously members.
My status apparently means I have not succeeded (I guess) ??Now I worry what kind of disciplinary measures would ACCA carry out against me because I’ve accessed the link – any idea? That would be double painful: to fail the exam + be punished
