“I’m sorry to inform you that ACCA is unable to issue a result to you for your AA exam on 08/03/2021 which was sat remotely.
Unfortunately, an isolated technical issue occurred with your exam meaning that we are unable to provide a result reflective of your exam performance.
Please be assured that through the results finalisation process we consider all known factors impacting a student’s exam sitting prior to releasing results. This includes all information received and made available through the centre complaints and mitigating circumstances submission process.
Only after review and consideration of these factors do we determine if we can release a result to a student that we believe is a fair and consistent reflection on their exam performance.
Unfortunately, in your case, we do not believe a fair result for your AA exam could be determined on the basis of the exam answer content available and marked.
For clarification, all answer content received on behalf of students impacted by such issues is marked where available and considered when reaching this decision.
A credit will be applied to your myACCA account to allow you to enter for this exam at a future exam session.
Everyone at ACCA appreciates the disappointment which this news will cause you and we offer you our sincere apologies. Furthermore, I’d like to take this opportunity to assure you that such experiences are a very rare exception, and ACCA cares passionately about delivering the highest level of service for our students. “

July 13, 2020 at 2:09 pm #576701Hello
Thank you for taking the time to read this message.
I just have a question about PER.
My employer is an ACCA approved employer so my supervisor can sign my PER.
When is the best time to ask him to sign this?
I have only passed F1,2,3,4,8 and 6 so far. I’m working in a relevant role full time for 4 year. The reason I want to have this signed is because I might be made redundant next year. (not sure yet …The Company is looking to move some of their activity in another country).
Few things about my role:
The client that I’m working on is Listed on the Stock exchange; Is a Private Equity Funds that invest in Debt, Equity and Derivatives in different geographic areas.
I prepare the accounting/financials reporting for all the structures (SPV’s, Limited Partnership, Subsidiary, Co- Investments and Carried Interest Partners).
FS are prepared under IFRS or Lux GAAP;
I’m preparing the monthly reports (Cash, portfolio reports), Quarterly Financials Reports, Capital Statements and Annual Audited Financial Statements (that involves prep of AFS and answers to any audit queries).
I’m working with a Financial Account Manager who will review all my work before it is sent to the client.
Many thanks
