Alex Watt came as i remember in before 2012, i started p5 st with Alex Watt who is the examiner, until toady . i failed more than 7 time , even do not remember, always with 49-or 47 , shame ,
still could not pass,
i saw, the examiner has a problem with grammar.. his questions are unable to understand. or he himself put many requirement in one question, and to make us confuse. he must have some ego issues seems.or he may have a deal with ACCA , he is the barrier, to hold us there as cash cow for united kingdom, this really violating human rights of us, and stealing our faith, but how come over more than 4-5 years, ACCA does not realize the nuisance going on, examiner failed to ask the question correctly,it is as i see, English language issue with him, i bet on that. if you analyse his pass papers , genius can realize.I want to say something abut acca exams, acca as institute only given a syllabus but acca never tried to supply notes , those who sell kits and text, even confused how to complete one subject matter in one section, notes are not summarized,any one who rely on these text never pass p5,p4, p3 also p2 is dam confused, i realized this matter in f9, never pass by reading these text books, some kits, they write their own answers, not the examiner’s.
one . i failed p5 five times, this time i felt ok, the reason i only read pass papers, i put in to bin those kit and text.
the acca should supply notes for each subject.even examines does not write articles, i could not find Mr Alex single article , instead nick rayan is writing? why .
acca should realize that acca should not be just certificate purpose, it must be knowledge purpose.Some students pass acca fully at the age 23 to 25, just by memorizing, most of then full time student, in my office one day acca member came for an interview , I just given a test, he could not write what is accrual accounting and any single Jv given, I felt shame on acca,
The reason is acca create a business for book writers and tuition providers.Certain Kaplan and bpp tutors are flying other counties for revising and tips, tips never work in acca, Tutors are charging heavily.
acca must ban giving tips.
one of the tuition provider in dubai, sending emails for revision saying that acca marker is attending in revision and great tips, also they said bPP mock and tips are provided, I went in this class and paid 1200 AED for 3 days, now 12 months passed, still i am waiting for mock that they promised.
acca never take responsibility of notes, why they are not breaking in to Kaplan and BPp.?
Please note p5 cannot pass readng text or kits. only examiner answers plan will help, he knows his style, but pbB or kaplan does not know.Hope acca will give attention to start providing only syllabus, but notes also, then this students conflict will end. acca will give knowledge, not certificate.
I am writing 6th time, what are the options available if p5 does not allow to complete acca.
is that examiner is acca qualified, person? also now difficult to switch p4 or p6, 7 year period may be over by the time, lost acca title with lifeit was sais z score removed from the syllabus, but how it came, this examiner is pressurized and if gives easy questions, he gives long scenario, hope even he cannot write within 3 hours after reading huge information, when this p5 get over or remove the examiner,

All these comments posted here must be sent to ACCA by open tuition. This examinor should be removed. Meaning all the students in the world say the same thing. he must think that what student can do within three hours time after reading the horible scenarios. The exam idea must be test the average knowledge of the student about the subject matter. because within three hours time no one can come to know the exact knowlwdge about the student. Some times back F9 exam s also looks similar manner. Look at the P2 examinor any one who did that exam paper. he is really good examinor . Examinor should not try to show the entire world that they are smart. of coz they are smart than us. but we are students. We are limited than him. Acca should do something fare for the 2011 p5 diet.Please open tuition these terrible comments about the examinor must pass to ACCA.thanks

It is confused me also. ‘clasification and measurment’
In kaplan rev kit page 349 last para says- ifrs 9 reduce the number of clasifications of financial assets from four to three. ( is this a measurment change or , clasification changers with refernce to the four catogories)
In the book of IFRS our examinor book page 159 under the last para says- as a result of its deliberations on the first step in the project which has proposed to reduce complexity in accounting for financial instrumrnt s by reducing the number of models of reporting financial instrument s from three to two ( amortised cost & FV)- again this a measurment or about that four catogoris.
I think measurment is two catogory and clasification still 4 as per IAS 39.
Who can explain this please.
