Which of the following statements in reaction to a claim for wrongful dismissal is not true ?
1)the employee can sue if the employer has dismissed them without proper notice
2)the employee must have been employed for at least one year
    3) the employee can sue if the employer has dismissed them without any justified reason
4)the employee need not have served any minimum period of employment
The correct answer is 4 but as long as I remember the employee must have been employed for atleast two years not one then why the answer is 4 and not 2

Also in the flash cards there is this one card that says something like if the company wants to held a AGM on a shorter notice 100% of the voters should agree to it while in one of the mocks there was kind of a similar question asking if a meeting has to held on a shorter notice how many voters need to agree to it and the answer was 95% now I m confused if it’s 95 or 100 or maybe 100 in the case of only AGM ?

    Another question sir
Which two of the following are automatically unfair grounds for dismissing an employee
    A)engaging in trade union activity
    B)constructive dismissal
C)dismissal on transfer of employment to a new undertaking
    D)redundancy
Here they are showing that correct answer is a and c but constructive dismissal is also a unfair dismissal so why not b

I read that post and now I m even more confused ordinary partner can participate in the running of the business ? in the article it seems like it’s the duty of designated members plus designated members will be liable if they don’t full fill their duties properly but the question still remains will they be liable for the debts of the partnership

I still don’t understand that question u solved above for usage variance we multiply actual quantity with standard price and subtract that with standard quantity multiply by standard price we get usage variance in this question the variance was 300 adverse
So actual quantity is 500 standard price is 2 per kg =1000
Standard quanty is not given but per unit usage 3 and price 3 =6 is given 300 is adverse so 1000 -300 = 700 divide by 6 we get standard quantity =116.67
    AQ* SP
    500*2 =1000
    SQ *SP
    X *3*2=700
    ———-
    300 ad
    700
    ——-= 116.667
    6
I m putting values in the formula but it’s taking me nowhere can u please help me

Sir I had this another question
    Q) actual sales 200000
    Sales price variance 400 adv
    Sales volume variance 200 fav
    Fixed OH expenditure 100 adv
    Budgeted production OH 60000
Actual sales would have been ?
~The question is not exactly the same cuz I don’t remember it word by word but it was something like this actual sales with three variances one fav two adv and budgeted OH and were asking for budgeted sales

I had this one question in the exam
    Q) which of the following is a cost reduction suggestions
    • outsourcing the aircraft seating
    • buying effective machinery
    What is the answer ?
??They gave no further information about that outsourcing maybe our internal manufacturing can make it more cheaper and buying the effective machinery will increase cost initially then will reduce it in the long term so what is the right answer
