Scenario:
TALLY Ltd specializes in providing software to the financial services industry. It has two offices, one in Chittagong and the other, its main office, in Dhaka.
In January 20X1 Ivan was employed as a software designer attached to the Chittagong office. However, by May 20X2, Ivan was informed that he was to be transferred to head office in Dhaka because of a reduction of work in Chittagong, which is more than 200 KM from his usual workplace.
Ivan refused to accept the transfer on the basis that he had been employed to work in Chittagong not Dhaka. Consequently, on 1st June 20X2 he wrote to TALLY Ltd, terminating his contact with them.Scenario:
