i think qn 2 was a gift by examiner……all 25 marks for knowledge. qn3 was also easy but qn 4 was more straight forward. situations when director can leave the board, it application in the question and the examination of frank bub not in compliance with professional code of ethics. i wrote he is not integral as he is not showing high level of ethics-by breaking formal procurement, not competence and due care- acting recklessly ie not pre testing in pilot mode, not objective ie allowing undue influence of his frend to buy that particular one etc…..
but i was caught up in qn 1. risk part and fairness of remuneration package have been well attempted, but the rest so so. it was about 70% well attempted so finger cross!

correctly predicted marketing question (both part a and b ) and porter’s diamond(=35 marks!). i had strong feeling these two are coming up this time. i shared this with few other people before exam at exam center and they were thanking me after exam. qn 3, time series is in pilot paper but because of time pressure cud not finish well. 75 marks have been well attempted but hoping to pass.in qn 1 i went against acqn using johnson and scholes sfa test.

practiced almost all past questions, went to exam with expectation of 80%. messed up in question no. 1 and then started to panicking. done all adjustments in qn 2 but did not finish final sfp and is. cashflow did not balanced either. wrote something about faithful representation, substance applied in factoring question. very time pressurizing exam. dnt think i will even get 40. all my hard work for 4 months went in to vain. i put incredibly huge effort as i had poor financial accounting background. my lecturer was telling me at exam center that there is no reason to fail student like me. extremly frustrated but i can not see the point of giving up acca at this point as i have already passed other 8 fundamental papers and . sorry for the cry here! gud luck to me in p3.

I got an insane npv for q1. 4.9m on a 5.5m investment or something like that. Couldnt see where i went wrong though.

The mm hedge I made at around 1900 better. Again, not sure on this.

On wacc I got another ridiculous figure of 8% but I think I messed up bank debt.
i got the same amount. i think in fourth year wc has been recovered, balancing allowance has been claimed so cf has been accelerated! finger cross!

There were 2 rates. The deposit would earn interest that needed adding on to the final figure. And the other rate you would b charged interest on. I wouldn’t worry to much. I didn’t get it first time out hopefully have passed this time around. Did anyone else get 11.25% for Wacc. Easy exam u thought. When will the answers be up. Which options did everyone say we’re worthwhile in the last valuation q? Also measurement I wouldn’t worry you prob only lost 1 mark : )

spot rate is given second last line of whole question
