Will this be the international P7 Paper
September 3, 2013 at 11:44 am #139623@ littlemissy , I would think that F5 and F9 are a good combination , I have already completed F5 but I find the costing type papers to be difficult enough , How and ever I started my study in earnest last night as promised and I found the online lectures very good . I do have other study manuals which I have from last year but sometimes I find if I arm myself with too much information it all goes over my head , To be honest I am aiming for the magic 50% on this paper and if I can do it with the Revision Kit exam pack , the opentuition online lectures together with the notes that’s the route I am going to take 🙂 .. I know the material I covered last night was very understandable and I was happy enough when I shut the computer down !!
In connection with 2 papers , I am also going to chance P1 also but I’m not going to get too bogged down about that , I will start with F9 and see how I feel with that one ….and if time and confidence permits I’ll try and get my head around P1 ….
All the best with the studies … back to online lectures tonight 🙂September 2, 2013 at 4:19 pm #139542Thankyou Mr. John Moffat , I have actually listened to a few of the lectures , and I have got the latest revision kit and book , I have the pens and the jotters and the nice coloured post its 🙂 …. I am now going to get the head down and just make a start …. I hope to be listening to you tonight on the start of my F9 zero to 50% plan .Thanks for the heads up on the 50/50 computational / Theory based paper , this actually might help me a little ..
Thanks againSeptember 2, 2013 at 2:42 pm #139527Thanks Syn213 , That great , I know I have to put in the work but a point of view from someone else is always a help !!! you have given spurred me on to get cracking with the books 😉
September 2, 2013 at 12:55 pm #139513Hello , I was just wondering if with a bit of discipline would it be possible to pass F9 using a book and the opentuition online lectures only , I am at the P stage of exmas but have left F9 for the last F paper because on a quick look through notes , I don’t think it is my type of paper but I know I just have to bite the bullet and do it !!!
I am living in a rural location and cannot get an F9 class near to me so hence my worry in doing it home study … I have already paid for this exam twice but have yet to actually sit the paper !!
What time or hours would be an average required to be doing at this stage and I do know that every individual is different but just to shock myself into action 🙂 …. many thanksJune 15, 2012 at 10:30 am #100412Exam is still in progress !!!
June 14, 2012 at 4:22 pm #100717On question 1 could someone please advise if they got good will …. I’m getting worried now as I’m seeing bargain purchase mentioned a few times… overall bad paper for me but just that one thing if you could let me know people..
February 13, 2012 at 9:03 pm #93474Was dreading the thoughts of getting this result but got the bare 50%. someone up above got me over the finish line. I also sat F4 on this session and I got 60 in that one with only about 10 days study . I spent at least 300 hours on F5 and did every question I could get my hands on but the paper on the day was really tough and not that it was overly hard but the format and content of the paper and questions just threw me and a lot of others . For the time put in the result doesn’t reflect the effort but I’m very grateful I won’t have to sit this particular again. : )
December 10, 2010 at 6:28 pm #74179Well this was not a great one for me , I really needed more time , I get very mixed up with the Variances no matter how much I study them areas , Hoping I get over the line , F3 would be the better paper for me, Good luck to everyone anyway and yes I think about 6 or 7 weeks for results !!!!!!
September 6, 2010 at 8:43 pm #65959Only just starting to set my sights on the Dec 2010 exams but getting great encouragement from reading all the results.
