I know we get the results but how much of the exam gets saved? Ie if your exam expire whilst you are typing something, will that answer get saved all the way to the point of exam lapsing?
September 9, 2021 at 5:52 pm #635169My variant was awful. Sections A and B tested every quirky rule under the sun. 60% of exam was consolidations, section C including.
September 6, 2021 at 10:34 pm #634655Not today, but had it in a past… what happened?
July 20, 2021 at 12:12 pm #628910Thank you so much @mrjonbain !
March 5, 2021 at 9:41 pm #613645Hey,
Did you mean ‘study buddy’, or ‘study body’, as in Kaplan, BPP etc?

It only indicates that results have been uploaded. However, you will not know what that is until next week lol
January 12, 2021 at 6:56 pm #605650@thuongha – I suffer with anxiety too. On Sundays, right before the exam results release, I cannot focus on anything at all… then I don’t sleep until and after I get a text message from ACCA, regardless of the result. As a consequence, I am absolutely useless the next day at work (why do they have to release it at such silly time?).
The only thing that partially helps me coming up to the results day is keeping myself extra busy – whether it’s work, exercise or simply house work. My house is spotless at least once in a quarter 😀January 12, 2021 at 1:32 pm #605605@slawlor92 – was it PM you took in December?
January 11, 2021 at 3:12 pm #605533Finally managed to log in.
Yes, just like last time, there is a notification on myAcca.
I cannot understand why ACCA/learning partners are sending these emails and show exam results notification on myAcca prior to officially releasing results? Clearly marking is done and results are uploaded, so why can’t they release it? Alternatively, just don’t email people/show notifications prematurely. Mind-blowing.January 11, 2021 at 1:04 pm #605502Let the speculation game begin…
I just tried to log onto myAcca to see if there is that notification… I can’t get in! I typed in my details, page started loading but then it took me back to the log in page. Tried to log in three times. Weird.
December 17, 2020 at 7:09 pm #600204Well, I have mixed feelings about this one! Some questions were really easy, some were really hard. Overall, I think I’ll get something around 44 ?
November 11, 2020 at 11:23 am #594717Hi Kim,
I wanted to edit my post specifying that exams were cancelled in my location and not the whole of the UK, but this forum does not allow to do that. I apologise if I caused panic to anyone.
However, information on ACCA website is not 100% correct – I was meant to take my exam in Chelmsford, Anglia Ruskin university, and it got cancelled. Meanwhile, on ACCA website it says that only County Hotel test centre got cancelled.
ACCA has unspoken policy to mark borderline exams twice (for students that got 50-52 marks) and if the marker thinks that the student made a ‘critical error’, they purposefully fail the student by marking it down to 49. This does not sound very professional to me, so based on that I would not be surprised if they had a similar procedure in place when it comes to remote exams.
October 19, 2020 at 1:48 am #590077Passed with 54%. Cannot sustain my happiness! Really pleased with the result considering I did C and A sections first and had only 10 minutes left for section B.
October 18, 2020 at 2:17 pm #589713Hey!
I am UK based student as well and share your worry. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be given any other option than to sit the exam remotely or not to sit it at all.
October 18, 2020 at 2:13 pm #589712Hey! Sorry to hear you’ve been struggling.
Can I ask where were you training whilst studying ACCA?October 18, 2020 at 12:10 pm #589699Less than 12 hours to wait guys… my stomach is twisting even thinking about it…
October 16, 2020 at 12:48 pm #589120@ddmoo agreed – this is getting ridiculous. My worry is that this forum might be removed full stop only because of some people not being ethical.
October 13, 2020 at 11:35 am #588746Agree! Clearly it’s all ready to go.
October 13, 2020 at 11:12 am #588743I just do not understand the need for that email exactly one week before the results are released. Students would only know what exam to book depending on whether they passed or failed. I also thought that it could be a targeting email as well… so stressful!
March 9, 2020 at 11:27 am #564979100% agree
March 9, 2020 at 9:37 am #564975I feel you! Felt exactly the same.
Also, it’s very mean of ACCA not to give access to the full past papers. Clearly they are recycling their section A and B questions.
March 9, 2020 at 9:34 am #564974Hello everyone,
Hope you done well with your exam.
Just a general observation – are people creating ACCA exams are actually English, or do they use bad English to confuse people on purpose? The wording in some of the questions I had was absolutely horrendous. Seems like their exams are not about testing students knowledge and understanding anymore, it’s more about failing us on purpose.
February 25, 2020 at 5:25 pm #563127Interesting! Our tutor at Kaplan said that there is. I guess it’s best to be safe than sorry and just learn it.
