thank you soo much very well explained… I have understood. Just one last question though. Why isn’t the amortization for the revised useful life of 3 years applied to the carrying value of 19.5m? Why was it applied to the Recoverable Amount?

Honestly that’s really a first I’ve NEVER EVER heard anyone not recommend Opentution to anyone pursuing this journey. I’m also planning to make my respective patronages once I qualify, possibly even become an alumni. haha!!
Anything to preserve the longevity of these kind peoples vision.

A vast majority of us have used Opentuition. It has proved to be the lifeline that comes to our aid when we fail to understand the complexity of things stated in the respective Study Texts. That’s just my personal experience anyway. I sometimes feel they use too much jargon during elaboration.
I watch lectures on Opentuition. Then attempt Questions on the Study Text and Study Kit afterwards. It really helps!! I can assure you, you are in the right hands as long as you do what I mentioned in the latter.

Quick question on Financial Reporting here,
In example 3 on Financial Instruments, Alice issued one million 4% convertible debentures and the par value is 100million. When calculating this you multiplied 1 000 000 by 100. I’m kind of confused, isn’t it supposed to be 1 000 000 by 100mill to give 10e14?
Other than that. Thank you so much for the lectures they make learning much easier to comprehend. Sometimes tuition providers explanations in their respective the study text’s can really cause a cranium explosion. hahaha!!
