Passed, yay! 63%. Thank you Mike and the rest of the Opentuition lecturers.

I am now an affiliate, and hopefully by early November a member.

    Thanks John and Hashim.

Will keep those in mind, obviously making sure they are relevant to the question.

I started doing the revision lectures yesterday afternoon, and it all seems so logical when you do the question, but when I attempt them not so logical. 🙂

But thank you, I will keep practicing until the exam.

Never mind, just checked the notes and saw that you stated there, that to set the min is to sell a call, blush. hehe.

Thanks anyway. Really appreciate your lectures and notes 🙂

    Dear John,

thank you for the great lectures.

I just have a quick question which I might have missed during the lectures. When dealing with collars, how would I know which option premium to select for the max rate and min rate?

Am I correct in saying that for a max rate you will always select the put option premium, and for the min rate always select the call option premium.

I understand the concept that for borrowing you will always buy put and sell call options, I am just struggling to understand which one will be that call option you are selling and which one will be put option you are buying.

    Many thanks

I failed this exam 46% 🙁 really thought I would pass this one, but passed P2 which I was sure I would fail, so just shows you that our “feelings” after leaving the examination hall is no indication of the result. Anyway, guess I need to get back to studying P1, and redoing the lectures again.
    Congrats to everyone that passed.

Please can someone help with TARA, I missed this one, and on the last lecture I can’t seem to hear. What does it relate to, and what does each letter represent.

    Many thanks
