First time pass with 58%. Shocked as I was sure of a fail due to being unprepared for question 2 and forgetting to finish question 3! Finally finished with my ACCA studies ?? With 3 exams completed in 9 months, it’s been a hard year and it’s over! Shame I can’t leave the house to celebrate! Well done on everyone who passed and don’t give up everyone else.

March 4, 2020 at 2:33 pm #564137I actually totally messed this paper up. VBM & EVA were the killers for me due to not doing much revision on these areas so it’s my own fault.
The quality cosy question was easy, due to time I moved on with the plan to go back and do it quickly and completely forgot.
100% resit for my last exam, so disappointed. Tried to rush the studying to avoid doing the exam on the computer. Oh well
January 13, 2020 at 7:04 am #558178First time pass with 51%, I thought the exam went better at the time but so happy not to have a resit! 1 left ??
December 2, 2019 at 2:27 pm #554452I struggled with time, and Q2 part A which I wrote utter nonsense. Way More marks for ethics than I expected which is usually easy to score well in. Fingers crossed for a pass!!
July 15, 2019 at 3:59 pm #52365751% pass first time, absolutley shocked! Cant believe it, was certain I had failed!
October 17, 2016 at 7:43 pm #34441959% first time pass!! Had the worst day on the exam & missed best part of q3! Can’t believe I passed, happy days!
September 8, 2016 at 9:58 pm #339207What a disaster.. I had an awful start of the day due to crazy traffic and roads being shut which resulted in me sprinting in torrential rain to the exam hall to make it by the skin on my teeth!
Anyway so I decided to do Q2 first, for the first time in an exam ever- what a mistake, spent far to long on a relatively easy subject.
Then I went onto Q1, I was already under pressure with the time, the crazy long scenario didn’t help, I felt like I couldn’t take in the scenario and couldn’t reference properly… anyway ran out of time the last section on Q1, so lost easy marks.
I did Q4, which at the begin of the exam I didn’t read properly and didn’t realise it was a swim lane… which I probably would have started with and been able to gain easy marks there. I didn’t study POPIT as I stupidly assumed it wouldn’t make a re-appearance.
All the questions other than POPIT were relatively straight forward but my shockingly bad time management and frantic panicking from the beginning well and truly gave me an overall poor performance. Plus on top of it all the scenarios were all soooo long for every question, I would have thought with the length of Q1, we would have maybe just gotten a smaller one for some of the options!
At least I don’t need to worry about passing as it is well and truly a fail – moral of the story stick to the time allocation and practice past exams under time constraints…. resit in December for me!
The sooner these exams are out my life the better! I have no idea how anyone manages to study for more than 1 at a time!
Rant over… sorry!
December 9, 2015 at 9:33 pm #289980Resit today and as usual major issue with the time constraint. I felt confident in the very beginning after quickly reading the questions then spent way to long on Q1. Then panicked and had to write as quick as I can – missed lots of good marks, found it difficult to answer question 3.

June 10, 2015 at 5:33 pm #256130I thought the paper was ok and probably quiet a good one to come up but sadly I was completely unprepared for this exam which is my own fault for lack of studying. Feeling very frustrated that I didn’t put as much effort in as I think with just so much of a real effort on my part would have achieved a pass…. resit in September for me, oh well at least I don’t have to wait till December!

October 14, 2014 at 4:38 pm #204434Hi Sam,
I feel the same about this question – its easy enough to go over the layout and practice examples but when I come to doing the exam question I don’t feel I know how tackle the question to the standard in the answer.
