79% ! Congratulations phillippahayes. I failed this paper and was scared to retake it, I decided to try another one. Luckily I passes. 79? that’s amazing. Are you human? I’m just joking, good for you 🙂

Passed on first attempt – 53. P4 can be passed guys. I studied the entire syllabus, practised a lot of past papers – even from the previous syllabus – in exam conditions, kept up to date with the financial press and read all the technical articles. And all this while working full time. A huge thank you to ACCA,the examiner, tutors, open tuition and BPP, I’m now an affiliate.

Final hint – presentation matters! Those 4 professional marks can make a whole world of a difference, that is NOT an exaggeration. Stay positive.

It was a difficult but fair paper. You needed to have a well rounded knowledge of the whole syllabus. Even though most of the trickier topics were not tested, the fact is any of them could still be included and trip you up, eg VAR.Proper time management was also very important.

    Q1 FCF,Share prices,BSOP.
    Q2 Gearing, VAR
    Q3 Swaps
    Q4 IRR,MIRR,Securitisation
Q5 Risks of setting up a foreign subsidiary,Dark pool trading.
