First attempt and passed 61%. I am really happy but it is not an easy exam! Part A was quite hard so I didn’t spent much time there. I just focused on big questions. I didn’t do 4 point question. Before the exam I mainly focused on core areas Ethics, Audit Risk->Response, Internal controls (recommendation), Substantive test, Audit Report. I was referring a lot to IAS as they are quiet repetitive.

    Audit Risk
    KEY:
Which FS item is at risk?
    OVER/UNDER stated
    WHY
Refer to IAS if yo can

    Internal Controls:
Scenario describes clients control and your job is to:
Identify the deficiencies/ weakness in that syst.
Impact that would have on the company (control objectives not met)
    Recommend the improvements (procedures)

    Substantive Test
    Check ASSERTIONS
    By doing TEST
    of EVIDENCE

    I hope this can help
    Good luck!

I though I was the only one. The part A and B were so though that I had no time left for part C which seems to be easer then part A and B. I don’t even hope for the pass even that I was studing so hard and was well prepared….
