Regarding Q 31. I removed (700-450) of fraud from receivables and debited to LOSS 250. But did nothing about the other $450000 of fraud. I am not sure I am correct. Something must be done about the $450k. I thing no provision was required about the 50% of fraud. as it does not meet the definision of provision. I think the whole 750 fraud should have been written of as loss.Loss as a result of fraud for the previous year only should be deducted from the retained earnings I suggest.
When I was sitting F6 the same situation happaned there as well. I had 49 marks too. And needed to resit. Today the situation repeats with F7, I think they do it purposely to collect more fees.
Failed with 49 on second attempt.
I did bpp rev kit twice, all past papers, all questions from open tuition site.
On the exam I only didnt write analyses, but wrote the formulas and related calculations and all other qs. No idea what has happaned to get such a result. Did someone have good experience with administrative reviews?It was obvious that today the question for 30 marks will be for Single entity. Because if you read last five examiner’s reports will notice that the examiner is very consistent, on march 2016 the big question was for Consolidation, dec 2015 Single entity, sept 2015 Consolidation, june 2015 Single entity. And small question was logical to test goodwill, consolid statements…and ratio always appear on f7.
I think my result is lowest here only 38 points for my first attempt.
I read once bpp text book and didn`t do all tasks from the revision kit.It is practical paper without calculations, it relies on techniques.You have to know the techniques and practising a lot planning and writting your answers. Very important parts are planning, controls assessment, substantial tests.. Instead of reading Kaplan or BPP study text better go for Open tuition study notes, if don`t understand any part there then check how is explained in the study text of BPP/Kaplan. And practise, practise writting answers.
