@niha, thank you! Can I ask you if you went through a particular process / channel of communication?

I am a qualified auditor and trying to do the same, but did not get much success so far.

    Thanks again!

Hello @Niha, congrats on your 3 papers passed first attempt. I have read that you are already a chartered accountant. Did ACCA recognize you any exemption regarding practical experience requirements? Or you had to go through all process again?
Thanks in advance and good luck

    Hello All,
Do you guys know if the word processor embedded in the remote examination tool automatically saves progress throughout?
I did not click on “end exam” and the window closed automatically when the time lapsed.
Do you know if all progresses made up to the end – including the latest changes – are automatically saved?
There is no saving button so I presume so.
    Thanks!

Thanks for the response! it was helpful.
I have followed this up directly with ACCA members mailbox. Let’s see what they answer.
I have discovered that the Institute for Auditors in Italy is not part of IFAC (while the Consiglio Nazionale dei Dottori Commercialisti – basically chartered accountants – is). It is quite bit odd since chartered accountants are not licensed and cannot for example be partner in a Big 4 (you need to be a licensed auditor instead).
So I claimed that at least my practical experience – as a licensed auditor – and the ethical requirements should be recognized by ACCA in the route to membership.

Thanks again and I will keep you posted!

    Hello all,
Does anybody have an experience regarding translating Italian accounting qualification into ACCA license? it is quite a confusing topic from the internet.
In Italy you can be “Dottore Commercialista” and/or “Revisore legale”.
Is there anybody who can point out a reference / document to understand if there is any simplified route to membership? Apparently there is no equivalence, and this is quite suprising to me since the syllabus and the practical experience requirements are quite the same.
Or someone who perhaps went through this process?
    Thanks in advance
    Emanuele

It was quite difficult compared to what I expected. The wacc question in part C was not easy for the part related to convertible debt. Also, the NPV of the project 4 vs. 10 years was also challenging. Hopefully was able to score some marks. Quite tough indeed, way more than expected!

Passed cbe ENG variant with 69%, completed in 1 hour or so. I used Kaplan study text and did all the practice questions within the study text. Not used a revision kit. I did the specimen exam in acca website and I used a phone application for practice questions (which I would not recommend though)
