Partway through this year, I moved into a financial controller role in a new company. My experience to date has been solely in an “Approved Employer” when it comes to CPD requirements. So this is the first time I’ve had to complete the standard CPD forms. I can see that there is an option to select “Starting a new Role” as an option. I’ve learned an enormous amount in this role, way more than the 21 hours of verifiable time needed. I’m therefore tempted to fill out the CPD requirements reflecting this. Has anyone else ever done the same and had to verify their experience? If so, did it go smoothly, or was it frowned upon to go about it this way?
