AAA sure is tough! I under estimated this paper ! 3rd attempt and passed 48,46 and now 57%. Finalist and I’ve finished! I will never do audit work hated every minute of it
thanks for coming on here and giving us confidence, I have been following this thread for the past 4 years. I started on this journey 10 years ago and have stopped and started. now finalist again (3rd time) and I will also be coming on the forum to say my outcome regarding the theories. best of luck.. everyone has their time, never let ACCA defeat you!
I do actually agree with you, I think the source code maybe to do with if you have ticked to be in the finalists list or not and I have.
The only difference is I have been a finalist for March and June and I never had the word affiliate in the source code or the white and grey pages when I logged in it was always just a blank white screen.
I’ts been along road for me and I just hope it is my time, fingers crossed.
totally thinking the same…are they reliable and I’m waiting on SBL and AAA results. Really don’t want to sit that 4 hour paper again!

I’m from UK and yes have affiliate in e-business, and grey can log in to the link for the portal and get white and grey page with details if that means anything ?I do still have @student email on the source code though at the bottom
Yesterday I could not log in to e business but since an hour ago i have the affiliate in source code.
Also this is 3rd time finalist and the previous two times I did not have the word affiliate in source code or grey and white page on myacca

}what did everyone put on the slides? I thought it was just odd to try and make three slides, did it mean a slide per director comments? Or did it mean to do a slide per each requirement in that section?
3rd time sitting SBL..the hardest paper to revise for.
I used two books, i did squash the table on portrait page , looked terrible .
Can’t believe the exam was more or less common sense. I spend an hour and half planning all the answers and just didn’t then didn’t stop writing for the 2.5 hours , wrote loads but my writing was scruffy I hope they can read it. Would be so much better to be able to type it.
I think they will catch people out on the time rather than content on this one.
Very contradictory they always say they give you plenty of time to answer with SBl paper …unlike AAA!How can I put a complaint in at ACCA ?
Today I arrived at the exam hall with my docket to find they had missed my desk number out when setting out the hall. when I said I can’t find my desk they questioned that I had got the wrong day or wrong centre after arguing with them that I can’t find my desk showing the docket they then had to go and find a desk and chair and admitted the number was left out. There were over a hundred people in the room. It was minutes before the exam started and then they hadn’t given me the answer booklet. Very poor organisation just what you need to calm your nerves!Passed 57% and even sat the wrong variant to what I studied. Just can’t believe it as it was a first attempt. Really happy to be moving off this subject ? thanks Chris for the great lectures !
Thanks for the advice Pauljaco I had my suspicions that paying for a review was a con really. I’ll put the money towards the exam fee instead ! Self study is tough going, glad we have this forum. Cardiff was such a nightmare to go to for September Exam. ill be glad to go back to the Bristol Centre where they actually have parking!
Can’t believe I got 49.. Thought I smashed it . First attempt .. Glad to hear that people thought the same though markers must of been tight!
Is it ever worth asking for an administrative review?? Has anyone done this ?Same here I usually sit at Bristol. Where thornbury leisure centre is great for parking. I think there maybe limited visitor parking spaces there they just don’t want to say although it is pay and display and you have to report to reception to get a temporary pass but it’s worth getting there early and trying your luck. I wonder if the main students who attend there are back from term break by 7th September ?
