It appears that they really take their time with these answers. Well, that makes me think of the scenario that by the time they publish the answers all the papers are already marked in such a way that the pass rates would be kept at the required level.
Now, I know that ACCA is a professional body and that we should not think that they could possibly do this, but still …..it is very unprofessional to post the answers sooo late. Does anyone know if there is a place where I could complain about this ?October 31, 2013 at 7:07 pm #144258check out the two articles below ( from ACCA website). There is one recent one from September 2013. And it appears that in the news they are currently issues with Islamic finance – so I think this subject is very likely, like I said. Apart from the 2 articles below , I do not have anything else ( I use BPP Notes and study text ) and there is nothing else.
If someone has some additional stuff , please share !

For a start, there are some articles on the ACCA website about Islamic finance. I will let you know if I find additional stuff.
August 8, 2013 at 1:04 pm #136478I got 38% on the 4 th or 5th attempt ( I can`t even count). And i have 6 years of audit experience. it is just unbelievable.
it is my last paper and it appears to me that I am just purely blocked. I think I will choose P4 for Dec 2013 session , because I simply cannot try this exam. Any tips for P4?February 27, 2013 at 9:59 pm #118858I can also subscribe to the Club of Bad time management. Actually, during my ACCA exams I had always had time management issues in the exam hall. Dec 2012 was the fourth time I took this exam ,which is my last one before becoming an affiliate . During the past 3 tries I had always had marginal fails – 46, 48 and 46 again. During the last 2 times , I was sure I am a going to pass the exam when I came out of the exam hall.
Now , reading your comments ,Mike, I realise that maybe the approach was bad also. My attempt for a 20 mark question had always been to try to make 10 valid & relevant points rather than 20 points. I guess I need to start training myself in finding so many relevant points for a 20-mark question …I can already tell that it won`t be easy.
Thanks for sharing the pieces of advice with us !
February 10, 2013 at 7:22 pm #117136I took P7 for the 3rd time and failed again; my results were : 46,48 and now 46 again. I did a lot of question practice , but still I was not able to pass it. Can someone share a good advice on how to pass this one ? It became a nightmare for me. Not to say that I have been working as an auditor in a big 4 for the past 5 years. Shame to me , I guess .
