Seems there must have been an ACCA members committee meeting today. Profile now updated to reflect member status with admission date today. Finally, but still at least another 2 months till I receive my certificate and and welcome pack.
My status had been updated to member too, just waiting on the official email now.

Nope, I m a member and I still see all my certificatesThat’s odd that I can’t view them anymore I wonder is it because they’ve just invoiced me for the admission fees, maybe this needs to be paid before I can see my certificates again, although theinvoice was only just issued this morning and it states the fee is due on or before 12th March.
February 13, 2017 at 2:51 pm #372241The email I received said the next meeting is 11th March where certificates will be sealed but it also said it can take up to 12 weeks from this date for certificates to be delivered.
February 13, 2017 at 2:47 pm #372240My application has been approved and I am now Graduate pending member. Which I believe means that I have to wait for the next committee meeting a week on Friday to be an official member. However, I’ve noticed that my certificates are no longer available to download or view, has this happened to anyone else?
February 11, 2017 at 10:58 pm #372022Yes you can start writing and answering in your answer booklet straight away now if you wish to.
February 11, 2017 at 10:52 pm #372021I’ve done both papers. Passed P4 Sep 16 session and P5 in Dec 16 session. The two papers are very different. P4 I suppose is similar to P2 in the sense that it is very technical and you need to understand everything in order to complete calculations and written questions. P4 is quite mathematical and a lot of computations are required although some are straight forward but very time consuming others are complex and again time consuming. It is a difficult paper but all option papers are difficult I guess. It’s all about practice with P4.
P5 is very different to P4 there are very little calculations required and where there are calculations they tend to be straight forward just time consuming. The content is a little similar to P3 and in fact there is a lot of overlapping areas such as Porters 5 forces, mendelows matrix, SWOT etc.. I did not find the actual content of P5 difficult (opposite to P4), instead I found the trick was with the questions and making sure you interpret and answer the question correctly. If you liked P3 then P5 could be a better option for you but don’t fall in to the pitfall of answering P5 questions in the same way as those in P3 which I did on first attempt (and failed). You must answer the questions focusing on performance measurement/management instead of a business analytics perspective.
In summary both papers are difficult each in a different way. I probably spent more time on P4 because it is very technical and complex but everyone has different capabilities. I hope this helps and good luck.
February 10, 2017 at 12:11 pm #371852Congratulations mrafael and chisasula. I just submitted my application for membership yesterday so I guess I have a few weeks to wait yet before getting my member status.
January 26, 2017 at 2:50 pm #369756Apologies if this has already been asked but I can’t see the answer. Do we need to submit a statement/summary for all of the elements of the objective which you need to claim or us the summary that’s required just in relation to the overall objective.

Anyone please give me a sigh of relief because i got the mail from ACCA to pay my subscription on time so that i could enter for march exams …..does this means that i have failed my last paper P4……if so it was my fifth attempt with this paper ….feeling worried and disappointed too 🙁I got this email too on Friday morning so I paid the subscription fee. I was a little worried that it meant I didn’t pass my last exam either but when I logged on to myacca on Friday evening I could see my professional level certificate stating I passed P5. I’m still a little anxious and nervous and praying that the certificate is right and not a system error.
