Thank you Open Tuition and Mr Garrett, your lectures were invaluable. Congrats to all those who passed, and to those who didn’t, keep going, this exam is definitely passable once you know the technique. I got 92 with self-study and only free resources, no exam kit needed.

This is how I studied:
1. Read the OT lecture notes for a chapter and make your own summary notes.
2. Watch the respective lecture immediately after and add to your personal notes.
3. Watching all of the lectures is only 20% of your studying though. The other 80% of your time has to be spent on the practice platform practicing papers. This is vitally important, only watching the lectures is unlikely to gain a pass, doing multiple past papers is imperative to pass.
4. Watch all SBL videos from the past year or two on the YouTube channel @ACCAStudyResources. This is where you learn the exam technique needed to pass. Also sign up for the webinars and do the mocks.
