Its normal for it to show that way. I submitted my RAP last year and it displayed the same thing. After some time it showed me the files i had submitted. So don’t worry.

Ideally yes. It is preferable if the main and comparator company is publicly listed because more information will be available in the internet. Also check if the company publishes annual reports and that it has published the latest annual report for their prior financial year. This will be useful when analysing ratios and also help you to have a clear understanding about a company’s business model.
