Passed with 52! I did no calculations for Q1 but still wrote a report based on my assumptions. That was the bond calculations.

I’ll be sitting my first P level paper in March of 2022. I work full time in an accounting firm and have 2 school aged children. Right now I’m on Christmas break from work (unless a client needs me) and using the break to study the materials for AFM (approximately 5hrs per day). During a regular work week I am up at 3am and studying until 6am then I have to get my kids up so they can get ready for school. I get anywhere between 2.5-3 hours study time on weekdays and 6-8 hours on the weekends (kids are with their dad then). It’s normally somewhere in the middle on average (25-30hrs per week).
Note I am normally in bed at 8:30pm.

Opentuition lectures and BPP Study text. I then worked through BPP revision kit; twice for the areas I had challenges with. I also sat mock exams under exam conditions so I could get familiar with the platform and practice timing for exam day.

I passed last Thursday using Open Tuition, 68 percent. I have the BPP text and kit but the volume of information was just too much.

Got my CBE in two weeks. Any advice from you kind people?

Go through the text as much as you can and the question bank if you have one. This paper just requires that you understand not to regurgitate what you have read.

Took this exam this afternoon – Nassau, Bahamas. Scored a 74 percent. The worded questions were a bit tricky. I was more comfortable with calculations.

Took this exam this morning – Nassau, Bahamas. Scored 74 percent. Not easy and not hard. Just for students to go through and understand the material and apply that understanding in the exam.
