Confirmed recently – https://www.accaglobal.com/zm/en/student/acca-qual-student-journey/sa/news/additional-sessions.html
Four sittings per year piloted in larger markets from Sept 2015.
February 4, 2015 at 11:23 am #225187I would scan all of the results on my phone, then bring them to this forum and sell to all who would pay cash π
February 4, 2015 at 11:15 am #225182Leaks in ACCAs system not deliberate. They may be down to flawed design of ACCAs system, but the are not deliberate.
Attempts by students to access results before they are officially released ARE deliberate.
The links are not illegal, but students must make their own judgement whether following them to attempt to access results before they are officially released is something they should do.
February 4, 2015 at 10:52 am #225178You’re right, of course. I could be anyone and no-one here should feel obliged to listen to anything I say.
I’m not talking about immorality or cheating.
But my initial question is valid – is attempting to access results before they are officially released (even if is proves to be impossible) show a lack of integrity? The very integrity that we are required to demonstrate as professional accountants?

I will refrain, as always, from making personal attacks.
February 3, 2015 at 11:22 pm #225105Personally, I’d rather be a clown than lack integrity.
I guess that’s where we differ…
February 3, 2015 at 11:21 pm #225104Wow! I appear to have touched a nerve.

you reckon this is a clue of pass/failure?No, I reckon your lack of integrity is a clue of future failure π
February 3, 2015 at 1:50 pm #225020I’ve had to resort to doing some work to keep my mind occupied…
February 3, 2015 at 1:41 pm #225016Loving your work @Sam123456789.
Good luck to you.

If we can also agree that you are wrong then that would be a healthy work environment.I’m not looking for a healthy work environment – just absolute power π
February 3, 2015 at 12:57 pm #225003As I say to my staff every day at work – we can all express our opinions and debate the various merits, and then agree that I am right π
February 3, 2015 at 12:54 pm #225002What would ACCA be apologising to you about? You got your result when you were supposed to.
February 3, 2015 at 12:51 pm #224997I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make @ankali18. I will be waiting patiently for my email on the 8th and not trying to find a way to get the result early.
Are you saying if I do not approve of crime I should not read the newspaper?
February 3, 2015 at 12:44 pm #224995Definite lack of integrity there – I may go as far as reporting it to the police π
February 3, 2015 at 12:24 pm #224988No – I mean to say I have been raised to judge what is right and wrong, but you must follow your own principles.
I think attempting to access results before they are officially released shows a lack of integrity. You seem to think it does not.
February 3, 2015 at 12:20 pm #224984My personal integrity does not rely purely on what ACCA answers to your question.
I have been raised to judge what is right and wrong, but you must follow your own principles.
February 3, 2015 at 12:10 pm #224980Are you saying that attempting to access results before they are officially released (even if is proves to be impossible) does not show a lack of integrity?
I am aware that there have been accidental system leaks in the past but that is a different matter to deliberately trying to gain access before the correct time.
Lack of integrity, lack of professionalism.
February 3, 2015 at 11:38 am #224977@Elia-Shar-eK
Either:
a) people are trying to gain early access to results and/or encouraging others to do so – lack of integrity
or
b) people are spreading and using these links even though they know leaks are not possible – lack of intelligenceNeither is particularly mature or professional.

This is wrong towards all of those just like meIn what way is this “wrong”?
You sat the exam; the exam has been marked; the results will be announced on the day that ACCA have always said they would be announced. Why are you wasting time and worry trying to cheat the system when you know nothing will be certain before the 8th?
February 3, 2015 at 8:35 am #224948Quite right @P4.
One of the earliest things we learn as ACCA students is professional ethics – including integrity. I cannot see much integrity in attempting to access results before they are officially available or in encouraging others to do so.
Not a trait of a the mature professionals we aspire to be in my view…
January 28, 2015 at 2:48 pm #224174I took the F4 CBE in December. Definitely NO typed answers.
See questions 46 to 50 here:
