I’m completely with you on that. Section A and B were horrendous! Section C was OK but not sure it’s enough.
No one in my centre got the Paris Question. I agree it’s totally not acceptable. My exam centre wasn’t the best either. Out of date PCs, uncomfortable chairs. Not ideal.
December 6, 2019 at 12:59 pm #555270Did anyone get the NPV section C question? Did you do the project over the 4 years or 10? I was thrown off and done it over 4.
Also multiple choice questions were horrible 🙁
September 5, 2018 at 1:27 pm #471578I got a complete mind black at the mix and yield variance so left that part 🙁
The ROI on the last question. Did anyone else work out controllable profit as Turnover less Operatational costs less Depreciation over Controllable non-current Assets??
December 5, 2017 at 6:56 am #420534Did everyone here sit the paper exam? I did the CBE and don’t recognise some of the MCQs. I would have thought they’d be the same though
September 7, 2016 at 7:41 am #338488Q31 was tough, my sofp didn’t balance and it wasn’t a round number because of the loan notes does that mean I did that part wrong?! Also the ROCE I used the total equity and Liabilities figure was there a CL part I should have taken out?!
I’m not feeling confident tbh.
Good Luck everyone!
April 18, 2016 at 7:19 am #3109143rd attempt 45% 🙁

March 10, 2016 at 12:50 pm #305256How did you guys work out ROI? I think i got 40 something % i cant remember exactly which sounds wrong as most of you got 30%, i did the net profit + return on investment + inflation over capital employed minus depreciation + new investment minus depreciation + inflation?
