January 23, 2019 at 7:23 pm #503133Dear Gillian,
You’ve been an amazing help for me. I feel that there is hope 🙂
I really appreciate your advice and taking your time answering my question in such a deep detail.I found topic 15 interesting this is why I was thinking to go for it but as you said it is not an easy topic to find information for…
My access to academic resources a bit limited as well.
I’ve contacted OBU regarding my student number so I could gain access to Academic libraries… but I was told that I don’t have one as I am a distance learner…
I was advised to use google scholar for research.Gillian are you taking on students/mentoring for the May submission?
Have a nice evening,
Kind regards,
KatalinJanuary 22, 2019 at 7:50 pm #503052Good evening,
My plan is to choose project subject 15: an analysis and evaluation of the management of an organisation’s working capital over a three year period and its impact on the organisation’s funding strategies.
I was thinking to use 4533: Healthcare providers.
I am trying to find a suitable company through the internet…
I am leaving in Ireland so I thought to choose some local hospitals such as St Vincents or Mater Hospital but their statements are not published….
Might be my approach is wrong?
I am hitting the wall and now I am very worried….
If you could please kindly advise how to find a suitable company with the necessary information available I would be very grateful and probably I would be able to sleep better….Thanking you in advance.
Kind regards,
KatalinNovember 17, 2018 at 9:00 am #485058I got it John, no need to reply 🙂
I had to break it down a bit then it was clear…
I got it until 7,6 last night then i got stuck…
Then this morning i had a fresh brain so it was easy to see that 7,6 was total share price so then the ordinary share price had to be deducted from the 7.6 then divided by 4 to get the right issued share price.
Happy days 🙂Have a nice weekend.

May 13, 2018 at 9:42 am #451614Good morning Mike,
Thanks very much. It is loud and clear 🙂
I am only on the 46th page with the OT notes. Probably should have gone through your notes before the study text book as it is much easier to understand.Have a lovely Sunday!

KatalinMay 1, 2018 at 7:07 pm #449716Thank you very much for the thorough explanation Mike. You are very kind.
My problem is that I am getting confused what to calculate and when, like in this question….
When you explained it is clear and easy but on my own I would have deducted the 20000…
For me it is hard to know what the question wants me to calculate….
I have to practice and practice and practice…
Thank you again!Have a nice evening.

January 31, 2018 at 12:45 pm #434213Dear John,
I’ve listened to your lecture twice already. I am going to listen to them again 🙂 I might missed that point somehow 🙁
I understand that the fix cost is not changing.
My question was about why the max demand units is used to calculate the contribution and then the original sales/demand unit amount was used to calculate the variable cost…Thanks again.

Katalin

KatalinSeptember 27, 2017 at 12:27 pm #408756Hi Szilvi,
I am self studying but I am taking the Irish Tax variation F6 paper in December.
Which version of F6 you are taking?Kind regards,
KatalinSeptember 26, 2017 at 7:04 pm #408713Hi Anna,
I got my Irish taxation book and revision kit from City Colleges Dublin.
If you live in Dublin I can meet you, collect the notes, scan them at work and return it to you but if it is too much hassle then just leave it.
The Capital gains tax looks a bit complicated with all the rules and exemptions..which part of the taxation you think the most difficult?
When did you take your F5 exam?Have a nice evening.

September 23, 2017 at 11:09 am #408414Hi Anna,
Thank you.
Are you studying in college? I checked that link out but it is a BPP UK Tax version…
Is it possible to send me your college notes on? If not, no problem.
I just started my studies, at the moment I am tackling the capital gains tax….
So many rules to remember and exemptions…but I found it very interesting.Have a good weekend.
