    As long as you are ‘opted in’ and meet the criteria (Registration date, papers sat, english language qualification etc) you do not need to inform the ACCA.

    You can apply direct to Oxford Brookes to be eligible to submit for the degree. All the major tuition providers have mentoring services or you can find a private one through Oxford Brookes as they hold a register of official mentors.

    There is guidance available on line and in text books regarding the content of the SLS, one of the mentors jobs is to review this prior to submission to check that you have addressed all the questions set.

    I am not 100% sure on this but as a decision was made to defer the mandatory effective date of IFRS 9 from 1 January 2013 to 1 January 2015 I would think it is acceptable to refer to IAS 39 still in 2012 exams. As long as you apply it correctly I can see it being wrong.

    passed with 61% ! not in the genius league but I am more than happy with it !! and means that I only have one paper left now 🙂
