thank you – one less thing to learn……..as if there isn’t enough to remember for this one!
Hi T420 – don’t have any tips but just wanted you to know you are not alone……I work full-time too and it is as manic as yours sounds – was originally going to try to do 3 exams this sitting. Have cut it back to just F6 and only started studying today – am not holding out much hope but will do what I can between now and exam day! Good luck 🙂
I agree Sangria9, the question is asking for “the total depreciation for the year ended”, not “the cumulative depreciation as at”
These are just rumours – ACCA has confirmed on Facebook that the pass mark has not changed.
Everyone is posting on the Facebook page about having problems in paying their annual fees – they’ve had loads of server problems so have extended it like cookie said to end of Jan
Lizmari – F2 was fine…nothing unexpected (I did a CBE)
Rehan1o1 – the CBE’s change each time …..there is a big ‘bank’ of questions and the system just picks 50 randomly…..I had a question on connected stakeholders (that included NED’s), Price Elasticity of Demand, Belbin’s group roles, McGregor X&Y Theory, Minzberg’s structure…these are all I can remember – it all went by in a blur and I really thought at first they had loaded the wrong exam! (I did Kaplan study-text – I self study at home – and went through their exam kit twice, listened to the Opentuition lectures….it is easier to take things in hearing them than reading them, did the mock paper (which is way easier than the real thing).

I passed F-1 on Thursday with 72% – at first I thought I was in the wrong exam……didn’t even remember studying anything to do with the first couple of questions! 25mins later, I’d finished. For anyone new to ACCA, I’d definitely recommend CBE for the first 3 papers – at least you get the result straight away. Good luck to anyone taking this exam.
Exam took 25 minutes and 72% – at first I thought they had uploaded the wrong exam (CBE), questions were nothing like ones I had studied!
To anyone taking this exam – learn the theories so that you can apply them to any situation, it wont be enough just to learn the theories ‘parrot style’ – Good luck, see you in F3 (already got F2).
My understanding is that to get the Diploma, you have to complete the equivalent of F1, F2, F3 and the Foundations in Professionalism module (online on myacca if you are eligible to take it – I completed this the other day….is all on myacca and is free!) but one of your exams (F1/2/3) has to be taken after December 2011.
