April 24, 2014 at 1:55 pm #166121Ok @Brian82000 and @salahuddin u’ve giving an idea of what to do. Thank u very much, I’m not ungrateful
April 24, 2014 at 12:58 pm #166110Ok currently part 1- 840 words, part 2- 2010 words and part 3- 5000 words, excluding title and table of content. Are u now telling me that I should make evryth including title and table of content less than 7500 (mehn! Thts gonna be real hard work for me). But salah uddin u intially told me Title and Table of content is not included in d word count. Also d markers comment to my friend who failed in P27 did’nt say anyth about d word limit has his RR including title and Table of content was more than 7500. But excluding title and table of content less than 7500. Also I’ve read d info park and the guideline is Part 1- 1000, part 2- 2000 and part 3- 4500, did’nt include Title and table of content in Part 1.
April 24, 2014 at 11:56 am #166096@Brian82000 I’m really not sure of what u’re saying. References ain’t included in the word count, I’m very sure of that.
The guideline in the info park is Part 1- 1000words, Part 2- 2000 words and Part 3- 4500. So altogether 7500, what I want to know now is if title page and table of content is included.
And I don’t undrstand what u mean by literature review, but the area of my RR that currently beyound the word limit is Part 3April 24, 2014 at 10:26 am #166085@Brian82000 and @trephena thank u so much for ur invalueable advice. Ok so here is another issue I’m having, the markers told my friend that he does’nt have to include ratio definitions in his ratio analysis, that he could include it in Appendix, cuz of tht I removed 2 ratio definitions from my ratio analysis, but since I’m yet to reach the limit I’m planning to remove all the ratio definitions tht I’ve included. Secondly, my RR is currently 7900 including title page and table of content, but if I exclude table of content its gonna be arround 7700, d major area where I’ve exceed is d Part 3, where I’ve written about 5000words, others are still within limit. So is it true that the title page and table of content is not included?

April 5, 2014 at 1:32 pm #164450I’ve seen some referencing guide but none have been able to answer my question specifically. I can only adapt my knowledge from other areas of referencing such as when an author is writing more than one book where u have to differentiate them by using a or b. I just want smbdy who knows or has had such challenge to give me the specification. Also I’m having d same problem with annual report. MS referencing wuld mention d name of d company and year like this (Apple Inc, 2013) but does’nt say its annual report. Pls I need more help good people my submission is close.
April 4, 2014 at 10:30 pm #164423@acnca I know MS internal referencing is right, but my challenge is how do I let the marker know whether it was BPP txt paper p3 or paper p4? Thts my challenge. Would appreciate help.
March 31, 2014 at 7:33 pm #163825Thnks @trephena, u’re awesome. Pls do take ur time and thank once again for ur deep concern. @sallahUddin thnk again for ur comment, u’ve been helpfull all the way. I’ve tried MS internal referencing when I wanted to start writing my RR. But it was’nt really explaining where I got d info from so I just decided to stop. For exam MS would say (Annual Report, 2012), without say whether it was my Focus or Benchmarking company. I also had sm issues with it tht was kinda contradicting the Harvard style, so I stopped using it. But since u used it and got a B wuld consider looking @ it again. Thnks so much for ur help. God bless u
March 31, 2014 at 6:48 am #163745Just so I could be better guided on hw correctly I’ve referenced my annual report. This is what I did in-text citation (xxx annual report, 2012). But wen I use industry report from Investment firms I use d name of d company like this (xxx Plc, 2012). And in my list of references I have referenced this two sources d same way like this’ xxx plc (2013). Annual report 2012 [Online]. Available at: http://www.xxx.com (Assessed: 10 January 2014).’ Pls is this the correct way.
March 31, 2014 at 6:22 am #163743@trephena thank u very much for tht, it was very helpful. I did’nt use Wikipedia in my RR as I I have told not to use it, however, I did use investopia for such things as Limitation of SWOT analysis definition of sm ratios. However in RR I did’t refrence in-text citation as (Investopedia, n.d) because all the tht Articles I read was wrtting somebdy and so were CFA holders so I did in-text citation like this (Joel, 2014) (d 2014 is d year d article was published). I guess this is right pls guide me.
Finally, I need u to show me hw annual report and industry or company report tht was produced by investment firms is referenced. I’ve don’t smth I just wanted to sure I’m right. Also I referenced Annual report by these investment firms and Company Annual report the same was is this right?. Thnks once again evryone partIcularly @trephena waiting for reponsesMarch 30, 2014 at 4:28 pm #163717Hello people pls I need some guidance, when my friend failed in period 27 and one of the comment made by the marker was that of his referencing and evaluation and analysis of information. But there was something he told me the marker said, and that was that there is no need to provide the meaning of the ratios calculated. I’m submitting my project in P28 and I’ve provided the definition of my ratios such as EPS, PE ratio etc, and also referenced appropriately. Does tht mean I should remove the definitions of ratios. As I need to remember remove smth cuz my Part C is currently above 4500 words.
Also @trephena u said it is wrong to reference in text using URL or the name of the site, however currently I’ve gotten some information from some sites such as investopedia and there is no author or date of publication of the article so I referenced in text like this (Investopedia, n.d), or in some cases where there was no name and no date as well and I had to use the URL ie (www.investopidia.com, n.d) example of where I did this was with my focus company’s website. Pls I need guidance if this is right.March 27, 2014 at 2:36 pm #163351Yes mohammad u can drop any paper and u have till 8 of April to do tht.
