self study, only second attempt for F8 and F9 when I was ill for the first sit, 6 exam terms, one 2yo-daughter, full time job and 2st semester for a master course. The last three years didn’t pass by for nothing. Now I have P4&P5 for Dec 14 and a job change. And it’s over.

it was little bit hard , question no1 decision tree couldnt identify the way of approach ,I didn’t notice the product life of 3 yrs, either, so I didn’t multiply it with 3. Actually it makes a difference as the cost of furnishing the fitness hall only incurred once in the first year. So taking one year in observation, renting should be more profitable than furnishing, but taking three year, the additional revenue from furnishing will evtl. make up for the furnishing expenses at the beginning. So the decision might change. I’, so sorry that I messed up with this Q1. as I think it’s quite a simple one, though at the beginning I didn’t really know how a decision tree looks like.

I got this ….I also got this. I just hope I did it correct, as in the end, my FS wasn’t balance. I didn’t recalled anything from disc. op and just answer Q.5 out of instinct. CF wasn’t too good also. For Q2, I think I messed up with EPS as one should calculate a weighted average EPS based on shares no. before and after share issue, which out of hurry I just devide ret. earning over total shares at period end.

I don’t get u, there was a loss on pre Acq. Retained earnings and then there was a profit figure for 8000 so 6 months pre makes it 0 lol what do you think?Yeah, I think the same. I also considered the distribution of ret.earning over 6/12 m, but the questions indicated the pre-acq. ret. earning as (2000). So I deducted it from net asset acq. As of that, post-acq. should be 10000.
