What about interest received?

Is this classified as ‘investment income’?

And if so, why does the ACCA website say that you list dividends received under investing activities and ‘Investment Income’ under operating activities?

What would be the need though for an adjusting entry?

Why could you not just CR Bank and DR provisions straight away if you know that warranty expense relates to sales from the previous period?
