Hi Gillian and Trephena!
I have decided to go with topic 17 for my obu rap for P40. I am quite interested with selecting of Nissan for my project. Is it a wise choice? Nissan seems to have quite a bit CG failures. Also can i use UK codes, OECD principals for analysis alongside Mendlows. Japan has adopted CG quite recently I only found really short codes of practice for cg by their stock exchange.
This my first research report so if you can please share some basic guides for searching for information. Also do i have adequate time for preparing a good rap? Thanks a lot in advance

February 7, 2019 at 9:03 am #504395Hi Dan & Ruth
This is a lot late but hope it reaches you. Firstly its nice to see fellow people with ADHD. People doesnt know or believe what a struggle this is. But to the point i hope both of you are continuing you ACCA journey even with ADHD.
I have become an affiliate in 2017. Believe me i know how tough it is for us but keep going.
For the the study methods that i used and found very helpful-1.I walked and read when reading cause i cant stay still
2. I watched a lot of video lectures but i broke each lecture up to 10 or 4 mins each for lack of concentration
3. I listened to music while doing math or writing. Sometimes i even put songs in the playlist just to calm down.
4. I studied in a room closed all human connection and distraction
5. Never have i studied for a long time always took a breather in between. 30 min study& took; 10 min Break& 30 min study
6. Made notes everywhere visible to remind whats important, What was really important.
7. Rarely did i sat and studied, I lay down when writing, I read while pacing, i wrote while standing. It didnt matter whatever helped i did.
8. Sleeping or taking a 30 min nap helped a lot to calm me down.
9. Rewarding myself with something also helped a lot.
10. Never have i or could i force myself if was in a hyperactive mode i did a lot that day , if i wasnt i couldnt. At the end this struggle is real i missed my 2 exams due to this. Not failed missed couldnt even attend. But also i have passed my last 3 exams in one go even with adhd. Hopefully this helps you or anyone who struggles with ADHD. Dont give up.
If ya have any queries feel free to sent and email to jamesshanonsarker@gmail.com. I will get back to ya as soon as i can. Thanks and all the best.

August 31, 2016 at 3:55 am #336425Everything is important ,there are about 40 models (i think) learn them ,learn to use them in scenarios
If i have to indicate to some models those would be-BCG,Ansoff,asridge,mendlow matrix,harmons grid,strategy clock,prter’s value chain,diamond,generic strategy ,five forces,PESTEL,SWOT,clutural web,matrix structure,7 p’s, 6 I’s ,POPIT,Swim lane diagram,Balogun and hope hailey,lewin;s 3 step ,ward and daniels benefitAugust 29, 2016 at 4:39 pm #336046Yes that could be it thnx
August 24, 2016 at 4:55 pm #334942Yea its doable…just put your mind into it …self discipline is required
listen to the lectures, read the notes, make small notes of the models
Learn the use of the models through revision kit or past exams practiceAugust 20, 2016 at 8:54 am #334170On this topic ….when i attempted f7 ..i saw that cash flow came in last session so i overlooked it and yea cashflow didn’t came as a main ques but it came as a part of the question and guess what i lost 7 marks which i couldn’t touch ..so yea my suggestion dont prioritize it but have decent concept so that u dont get any surprises in exams

July 17, 2016 at 7:00 am #326121I would rather be in a horror than in this situation …..actually i love horror so no prob
July 17, 2016 at 5:24 am #326114I can get used to so many thing …but this anticipation of result …i doubt i will ever get used to it …damn so nervous

April 30, 2016 at 4:50 am #313125Could u please share with me too
April 18, 2016 at 11:42 am #311151Dont worry ,I failed my 1st time too then I just revised and did as many past exams i can and tried to think like im actually auditing when reading questions
As u got so close it shows there is no problem with your knowledge but your thinking and how you present your answer answer
Dont waste time as knowledge is still fresh
Good luckApril 18, 2016 at 3:23 am #310813Passed in 2nd attempt ,I couldn’t have done it without Open tuition ,Thanks a lot
