Folks, from the past experience, open tution will block this forum for any new postings at 12 and will open new pages to share results for individual exams papers….
After seeing the result being pass durng my times, was excited to get back on to share the joyfull moment with all and kept getting am error message… took a little while to figure the forum was put down so just to let you all know.

Im a member now after passing my final P7 in March 17 and since then getting my PER signed off and paying the £221 fee for membership. Same as you guys, it was a manic for all of us whom were waiting for the results during the last session.
Logged back in to share some experience of the link theory.
So what we found was that whom ever could see the grey white page went onto see a pass at the results. Others who couldnt see it, some passed and some didnt, if you cant see it, there is still a chance because not necessarily all the results uploaded as yet…. with regards to the link that takes you to the grey white page, at the end it says “student” that is exactly how it was for me until the result were released. Afterwards, automatically when you click on my acca on the home page, it takes you to the same grey/white page but in the end of the link you will notice the student will be replaced with “Affiliate” on the link. Then it goes onto change to member once your status is changed to member. I also left some comments on page 9, take a look and you might find it useful….
Itz a amazing feeling once you see the affiliate word next to your registration number. Enjoy the moment as it becomes a decent memory….
lol im not even sure why i logged back into this forum, guess there was this feeling i had during my time to come back in the future and share the experience which I was despreately waiting for to hear from someone who had gone through the same before me…. so there you guys.

Hey up guys, just to share some experience… I passed my final P7 in March sitting. Exactly as you guys, I lost my sleep and kept reading this forum to see for any hints… I was the first one in March sitting to see the grey and white page. You can refer to March 2017 result count down thread. What I found was that almost a month before the exams i could see the white and grey page too. However, right next to the ACCA registration number there was a word “student” next to it. Then around 10 days prior to the results, that student word disappeared. Same as most of you guys, i still didnt believe because until the actual results are out, no matter what if anyone says, it all means nothing. But , but, it is fun isnt it ? 🙂 so keep going. Another thing to share, yes i could see the add exam option but when clicked, it said no exams available. What else, yes the letter of good standing is something ACCA has added in April so anyone who can get onto the grey white page will be able to see it.
Since then, i completed my PERs and became a member on 16th May. 🙂 Waiting on my certificate now which apparently takes 12 weeks after the council meeting takes place to seal the certificates. Honestly, the best feeling ever. Phoned ACCA and instead of the option 1, I started to select option 2 being a member. All these little things provides a delightful joy, after all the hard work of years.. it still brings me a smile thinking about it…

The council meeting was scheduled for 17th June. The information from ACCA states it would take 12 weeks from that date for the certificates to arrive. Does anyone know if there is a chance for it to happen any earlier ? Not being impatient but im about to start a new job on 10th July and the new employer has asked to bring the original certificates on day 1. Just wondering if there is a chance or it will have to be the letter of good standing i would need to use ? Would appreciate if someone can advise. Thanks

I called ACCA on Monday to ask for assistance again………………no idea what they did but on Tuesday my supervisor received an email advising that I had sent information to their MYACCA. Hopefully that will be the end of this saga………been ongoing since November.
I faced exactly the same issue. The email ACCA send to the supervisor for registration requires them to create a user id. Afterwards they will need to go into “my ACCA” through the ACCA home page and click on forgot password. That sends a link to their email to reset/ create the password. They will then need to go back into my acca and login using the user id they created through the link and the password they just created. Once inside, they will see a request from you to confirm their agreement to be your supervisor. Once confirmed, right away it will create a connection and you should be able to submit the per for approval.
I know exactly the most confusing process ACCA has in place on this. My supervisor is an FD of a one of the large companies. I was so happy for him to agree to sign off for me but all these extra clicks here and there just caused so much extra time of him. At one stage i actually thought he will refuse for being a supervisor but hats off for his patience. At the end of the day supervisors arent gaining anything out of this and ACCA should do something to improve this silly process.
I had to ring numerious times to ACCA to find out the steps described above. Thought to put out there in case if it can help someone else facing the same issues.

All the way through the countdown forum, I tried to keep the moral high of our colleagues who couldnt get past through the link. Sound as, our batch has made the “link theory” spreaded through to every single student. The next time around guess that will be the only topic of discussion. Silly me to put that out there on day 1 of the forum. Lol well if not me, sooner or later someone could have brought it up. All the best for the future and enjoy the moment 🙂

Sorry to hear about your results. You asked for the advice, probably quoting the abvious, put your p7 text book somewhere you cant reach and use the practice and revision kit to pratice as many questions you can. Also pay attension to what writer has described about how to approach the answer. You will probably know the sylabus but may be its the exam technique you need to get a good grip on. 5 weeks before the next attemp so sooner the better. All the best for your next attempt.

Well done and congrats. I had heard the horror stories about how difficult it is to pass Ps exams without failing so i didnt expect it..but cant believe I passed the whole ACCA without any fail. 😉 Over the moon man over the moon. Many congrats mate. Likewise, I managed to get through too. 63%. Didnt expect that in a million years. Heard thr horrors stories of many attempt to pass the P exams but I got lucky to pass the whole ACCA without any break. Truly over the moon. Shame that forum was putdown, the momentum got broken. Wanted to see how other folks got on. Well, hope they all managed to get a good news too. Lols after all the link theory worked for both of us. Still dont believe on it though 😉 all the best for the future.
Pass 63%. Truly over the moon and now affiliate. Kept talking about the link theories and it seems to have worked. Thanks God and really hope all the folks on the forum get the good news too.
