Question 4. I had revenue with the international and domestic elements and the operating lease over the three years. However I had no spreadsheet in the workspace for this question only wordprocesser so had to type out calculations on word and using the calculator. I invariably made an error but could not easily correct it as I would on a spreadsheet and didnt have time to do it again manually. Did others have the spreadsheet for this question?

Found some info, there were two possible Q1’s

A
Q1. Business Valuations – asset & earnings methods. Gain to shareholders based upon two purchase consideration options.

B
Q1 Corporate Reconstructions – Calculations of WACC, P/E value & DVM.

I had B, unbundling valuations, no share for share or cash offer at all (I was worried when I saw the comment also thought I had missed a huge part of the question)

Have spend a whole evening trying to work this out. First off didn’t have data analytics on my excel, took ages to figure out I needed an add in (thanks google). Then I’m met with a data table that made no sense (not going to lie I skimmed this chapter it hurt my brain). Then came here great explanation by Kim and the other posters. Boom! Moving on to chapter 8. Thank you again

Also was anyone else bothered by the noise at the Excel centre. Hall next door constant noise of construction and what sounded like poles dropping on the floor

I could not find the bid amount in question 1. What was it. I read over a couple of times but just couldn’t see it or what it could be derived from. Had ti move on, did the whole thing with no price paid/bid amount ????. Was very time pressured overall
