I finally called ACCA and after clearing my cache and using a different browser, i was still unable to print the certificate. I was advised to write to acca and they attached my certificate for me in their reply.
August 4, 2015 at 10:30 am #265398I haven’t been able to print any certificate too since I passed in Dec 2014 and i didn’t receive any certificate from Acca by post. Maybe it’s time to call them and find out
July 22, 2015 at 10:13 am #261384I think you guys should relax. For Dec 2015, i was unable to get into the 2nd link and the first one also showed that I failed (based on the analysis of people). However, on the result day, i passed and I’m now an affiliate.
These links tend to heighten the tension. Its only when the results are uploaded and there is a leak that one can be sure.February 9, 2015 at 3:03 pm #227372The examiner had stated that there is no mark for quoting the ISA number. You can just say, “according to the relevant standard”. Listen to the last webinar done in December, it’s explained there
February 9, 2015 at 10:03 am #227238Since you have started with P5, i would think it is better to stick to the subject you know already. Find out where you have made mistakes, review examiners reports and check what and how they want the answers.
However, if you choose to change to P6, i used Kaplan and It’s easier to understand because it starts from the pre knowledge and builds up to the advance tax.
Note that Kaplan text is very voluminous therefore there is the tendency to easily forget. The trick is to continue practicing questions and revising any topic already studied while moving on to newer topics.February 8, 2015 at 2:02 am #226139Passed 66%, P7 54 both first time. Happy to be an affiliate.

January 24, 2015 at 6:16 pm #223653I just got another email from ACCA today, saying “Please accept this email as an apology as it was sent to you in error and should have been sent ONLY to candidates who had not entered for examinations in December 2014.”
January 23, 2015 at 3:50 pm #223554I received a Sms yesterday and today got an email about it. I wrote my P2 and P3 in June 2013 before writing the last 2 this past December. So I’m assuming it was due to the gap that we are receiving such.
When was your last exam before the December 2014January 23, 2015 at 8:42 am #223503@ Kibalka, I hope you are right. Anyway, no need disturbing my mind. It’s either a pass or a fail. I choose to think “pass”. Lol
January 22, 2015 at 9:12 pm #223458Hi, I got an unsettling sms from ACCA today saying, “You only have 2 exam papers left to do early entry closes 8 March so take advantage! Enter today and restart your journey to membership. Log in to myACCA”.
why would they send me this when I just wrote the last 2 papers in Dec.
Did anyone else get this sms?December 25, 2014 at 9:19 pm #221625Hi,
I used Kaplan because I was exempted from F6 and it was very good because each topic starts with a revision of the F6 required knowledge before introducing the new areas of P6. I don’t think you need to buy the F6 book.December 25, 2014 at 9:06 pm #221624I used Kaplan and I found it very easy to learn as it starts by refreshing your memory on the F6 before introducing the new areas for P6. I was exempted from F6, therefore the Kaplan book was perfect. However, the book is very voluminous and requires starting on time in order to cover the syllabus
December 6, 2014 at 8:59 pm #219014@Carl29, you are right. The estate was for 1m.
Anyway, the exam was okay but I realised I made some mistake.December 1, 2014 at 7:27 pm #215395Q2 did anyone notice that the natural disaster was after the year end. So I felt the carrying value didn’t need any adjustment. Therefore, the contingent asset should only be provided for only when it is certain. I was so time constrained….. Hoping for the best
November 30, 2014 at 5:56 am #214577In UK, they are allowed to be used just as Mr Mikelittle stated in respect to their work. The only difference is that they are not to be used for direct assistance.
November 29, 2014 at 11:53 am #214307Thank you for your response.
However, i am asking based on the fact that it will take me a little longer time to write, “according to the relevant accounting standard” than simply writing “IAs 16”.
Thanks once againNovember 21, 2014 at 11:55 pm #212058Thanks so much for your answer.
September 12, 2014 at 9:22 am #194725Hi rockerz, I’m thinking it will be a lot easier if you drop your number and people send you a request to join.

August 17, 2014 at 6:03 pm #190749the answer plan you gave is very valuable as just identifying the threat alone will not give any mark
August 17, 2014 at 6:00 pm #190746For the *b* part of your question, BPP uses the method
i. identify
ii. evaluate the significance of the threat
iii. apply safeguardAugust 16, 2014 at 8:31 pm #190584dont be disappointment, it was expected as Mikelittle told us.
