Hello, this is an extract from the PM pre-mock exam:
Year 2
100 units at 0.3556 hours per unit 36
99,900 units at 0.33 hours per unit 32,967
Year 3
200,000 units at 0.33 hours per unit 66,000
––––––
Revised total labour hours 99,003
When I had done the calculation I did not round up the number of hours for the 100 units. I added 35.56 to 32967 and 66000 and my answer was slightly different to the correct answer.
How can we know when to round up and in what circumstance shall we do so (the question did not mention anything about rounding the answers)
