So far what is your weakness after exam that you had analysed yourself?
I had analysed my weaknesses in first and second attempt which was time management ie unable to cover all Qs and the way I write the answers.I found out it was much easier if we understand what is P7 about, see things in bigger picture, never show to examiner that you are rushing to answer Qs.
Which is why time management is vital.Exam techniques can be obtained in any revision classes, in my opinion as in Malaysia there are many different exam techniques in revision classes held by different lecturers.

I think maybe your exam technique was not what the examiner prefer?For P7,
Time management is crucial.
Must be well rounded on all topic, get the bigger picture of audit process, and practise, practise PYQs.For P2,
Must covered all important accounting standards.
DO NOT over emphasize consolidation in Q1. there is more marks on accounting standards in Q1.All the best guys!
Finally I am an ACCA affiliate passed with 58 marks. My third attempt. First attempt with 36 marks & second attempt with 48 marks.
I think time management is essential and you MUST attempt ALL the qs.
I had answered all qs but not really meeting the marks requirement.
I think only half or more of the requirements only coz no enough time for me do so in my first and second attempt.Wish all P7 students all the best.

ya. as far as i know in P7, markers want more points with detailed explanation which is why time management is crucial. all the best!!!! 🙂

June ’13 will be my 4th attempt. How shall I best revise for it? I have bought BPP CDs to listen on the train and am thinking to go through the notes per topic and attempt questions from the kit. Initially using the text. Would this be correct? I feel so stressed now and losing confidence in ever passing this paper.

I had same issues too. Dec 2019 will be my third attempt for P7 and second for P6 in June 2013.
The reason i failed is lack of doing past years questions. Hopefully I can pass as now I decided to take only 1 paper per sitting. 🙂@spencerli said:

as for your Qs:
1. you need to do ur prof ethics by urself. if you are attempting P1 then it can give u a great help.
2. There is no limit for Prof ethics
3. It will not affect your OBU. are you doing FIP or Prof ethics? there is a difference between both.
4. you should download ACCA obu pack to read all the info then only you may start ur RAP.
5. ACCA obu pack will have 20 topics.
I think it will unlikely to be change.Hope these can help you.

P7 35 (failed at first attempt) – can not believed i had so terrible marks. 🙁can we know any IFRS or IAS changes that we need to know for June 2012 compare with Dec 2011?
