Hi Chris – Sorry to chase but could you please let me know.

Also, will you be out of the office during the summer period?

    Thanks

Is anyone going to complain to ACCA for the mistake on the question numbering as it definitely took a chunk out of my time and stopped my train of thought when I was interrupted

Yes I will after I have finished with my other exams.

Overall, I found the exam tricky. No corporate governance, external audit vs internal audit. MCQ questions weren’t that nice except Ethics one. Overall would take 50 now.

I took this as a CBE and found the whole process was very smooth. I can type a lot faster than I can write so I was able to give much more detailed answers. The new format of the exam worked well too.

Hi, did you get your results today too?

We were told part way through the exam but I would guess you’ll be ok as it is ACCA’s error not including this in the answer booklet or having the invigilators ensure students knew about this from the start of the exam

I flagged this to the invigilator and then 15mins later she makes an announcement in the exam which was not helpful and she talked for 5minutes. This is definitely a fault with ACCA which they should have resolved when they knew they were changing the exam format !!!

Really annoying, failed with low 40. more work required for this beast of a paper.
Probably defer until new format in September via CBA now.

Paper style changed somewhat from previous papers and specimen paper. Really hope I pass because the format is changing again from September 2016 and this means more MCQ.

    I recall 11% WACC and +NPV.

Good luck all and onwards to June sitting.

Fingers crossed get the marks required to progress. No surprises in section B except the Q3c and couple adjustments in Q1. Good luck every one.

I agree with you all, F5 paper focused on cringe topics would you agree?

10 marks on TVM (3 E’s) like not being funny but this was not covered with college provider. Section A and B were alot trickier than past sitting and specimen paper.

Definitely think I be retaking in December which is not ideal.

If anyone sat the exam at Tottenham Hotspurs why were students allowed to eat chocolates during the exam, it strictly said NO FOOD IN EXAM HALL !!

    Good luck to everyone.

Q3 part b – what was the treatment? Remain as associate of financial asset? Remained 35% equity stake but lost seats at board of directors?

Didn’t recall studying this so prob lost 5 marks automatically depending on the answer. I said keep as associate.

I had 500 for other comprehensive income from gain on revaluation. Must have missed some note for the other 90.

    The ratios ques threw me.

    Fingers crossed!!
